Firstly I considered this for awhile. I asked myself what I am getting it for = vacuuming! The fact it doesnt have a blower like the others in the range is a quirk I am dissapointed not to have but as far as the suction and vacuum itself this is a solid 4 stars. Used outside to suck up leaves, water, sludge and stones after power washing my driveway and it was no effort to it! Good size tank at 20l. All in all im happy with it and would recommend however if i had a little extra money I would have went for the WD5! As its Karcher you are getting a good qaulity product albeit it has a bit of a cheap plasitcy wand it still does a good job!

My wife’s car had suffered from water coming through the bonnet due to the drainage area blocking in the bonnet sill (common on Skoda Citigo). We returned from holiday to find the front seat and rear seat footwells had turned into a swimming pool.
I had long pondered getting a wet and dry in the past and now I had no choice. I purchased this model over the slightly cheaper WD2 and all I can say is wow. You cant escape having to use a little bit of elbow grease whatever your using but this thing made lighter work of over two buckets of water. I thought I had drained most the water out of the car previously using a dustpan and bailing it but the bucket in the hoover said otherwise. I did buy the car cleaning tool which I would recommend if you want to use this to clean your car and obviously as the car was wet I didn’t use the hoover bags but if I am honest why would you use this for hoovering anything other than large chunks of debris or water.
I can think of a million uses for the hoover but you wouldn’t really want to be dragging it up and down stairs in the house unless it was to clean up DIY debris or other such material.
The suction on the hoover is powerful and not only did it make light work of the water but it also picked up dirt and grime easily. The only downside to this model which others elude to is that I don’t think it can be attached to power tools for dust extraction but it would certainly clean up the dust afterwards. Great hoover and very robust. Another plus point with this hoover is you don’t need to remove the filter when using the wet function and its also easy to remove and clean.
