Love Kipling bags and have several! This one is the perfect size in my opinion, great for everyday use and more stylish than some of the other models of similar size. This will fit an umbrella and has many useful compartments. The key clip is great and feels very secure. The small open pockets on the front are perfect for hand sanitiser as you can reach into these without opening any zips (there are also small zipped pockets on the front of these pockets). This is my favourite Kipling bag so far as it ticks all the boxes.

I purchased this bag because I needed a new travel bag and really liked the size of this bag and that it is a crossbody which I need. I purchased what they are calling ‘grey’ – it’s really more of a taupe and in my opinion I could see that in the picture. It’s a good neutral. I usually buy black and I wanted something lighter in color. This was a good choice for me. There are just a ton of zippered compartments and because the bag is matching lighter material inside, you can see to the bottom which for me is important. I am forever ‘losing’ things in my black bag. Kipling is a good quality brand and I am not disappointed in anyway. The straps are a woven cotton blend material. The bag itself is a really nice nylon blend and repels moisture. Comes with an ape keyring – their trademark item. The zipper is SUPER high quality and opens and closes so very smoothly. The zipper pulls have silicone discs on them to aid in holding on to them. This may not be a super fancy lux brand – but it is super high quality and functional – I’ll take the latter any day. Worth every penny. I’m going to go back and look at other colors. Oh, and it’s nicely lightweight. 10 stars. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I really love this bag and bought a second in black. The only things are I wish the front pockets zipped in both places not just one and I wish there was a place for a phone on the inside. The inside pocket it has does not fit an iPhone with a case.

Lovely bag, perfect size. Not too small but not overly large or heavy. It was bought as a gift and well received.

This is a lovely bag, plenty of room in the back pocket to store a Kindle or small tablet and a roomy interior. What I didn’t like though (and maybe this is a discovery that left handed people always get a bum rap regarding bags), is that if you have the bag on your right hip, the zip pull for the main compartment is at the back of the bag. I think with every other Kipling I own, the zip pull is at the front so you have quick access. With the Izellah though, you pretty much need to take the bag off to open it. I also didn’t like the lack of security with the zip pull being at the back. If you don’t mind this, or you want to wear the bag on your left hip, it’s a super bag.

I have about 10 Kipling bags, all used at various parts of the season. This bag captivated me as it was similar to the first Kipling bag I bought many years ago and cannot replicate. I like the size, just right for me to use every day, It has all the useful pockets that Kipling are known for. I love the colour (light grey) which is a beautiful calm and peaceful shade for summer months and will go with any colour coat or jacket. As always, a perfect bag which will last a lifetime. Kipling bags are waterproof which is indeed a very good thing in the UK climate. I have no fear of the contents of my bag getting damp or wet. A great Kipling bag which is both classy and practical.
