The kettle is made from quality, durable plastic with a heat resistant handle and the hinged lid opens wide making it easy to refill and accessible to clean. The power cord attaches to a separate power base so you’re not restricted by the length of the cord when filling and pouring the kettle.
REMOVABLE, WASHABLE FILTER: The filter prevents limescale and bits from getting in to the cup when pouring. It sits inside the easy pour spout and simply slides out, ready to be rinsed under warm water and slid back in to place.
DUAL WATER LEVEL WINDOWS WITH CUP GAUGE: Check water levels without lifting the lid with the water level windows on each side of the kettle – ideal if you’re right or left handed. Clearly marked on the windows are cup gauges, these show you the ideal water level needed to fill 2, 3, 5 and 7 cups. To save energy and speed up boiling, make sure to use the cup gauges to measure exactly the number of cups required before boiling.
AUTOMATIC SAFETY SHUT-OFF AND LED ON / OFF LIGHT: The red on / off power switch has an indicator light which illuminates when the kettle is boiling, so at a glance you can see if the kettle has finished heating. Once at temperature, the kettle will automatically turn off and with boil-dry protection the kettle will shut-off if it does not contain enough water.

This Kettle is rubbish. Pay for a Good Brand name and it will deinitely be worth it. After a couple of weeks it started not to turn on with the flimsy knob acting up. You would think it had worked but after a few minutes realise that it had not actually switched on. I tried several times and occasionally it would boil but after three months it would not turn on at all. I tried to ring the company and they were shut down for a week or so and I felt life is to short to waste on shoddy goods . Never again will I buy something for a cheap price. It actually should not have 1 star but you are forced to rate it.

Worked well until the day before the 1 year warranty ran out. Extremely disappointed. Should have lasted more than 1 year. Thankfully, I still have a Russell Hobbs kettle as a spare, and it is years old. Will stick with better known brands in future. Can’t recommend.

I have bought 3 kettles in a year! The first two were made from glass they took ages to boil and seeing the limescale was very off putting, a friend bought this and was very happy so I thought I’d try it. I am very very happy, it’s lightweight which is great. it boils really fast (4 whole mins faster than previous kettle) well worth £15 no complaints at all

Very cheaply made and lever was flimsy. Took 3 or 4 attempts to get it to engage and stay down to toast. Number 1 setting did nothing – stayed down for 10 seconds then popped back up without toasting anything. Returned this and bought a better one.
