Love this KitchenAid stand mixer. Whilst I do plenty of baking didn’t want a great big one, but this can handle anything the Artisan model can, it’s only slightly smaller. Well made and very heavy, especially compared to the Kenwood I had for years. This just looks so nice on the worktop too. Very happy with this product and would definitely recommend.

Much more solid than any other mixer I’ve bought. Has 2 slight issues. The blades do not quite reach the bottom of the bowl – something I’ve found with all mixers. I believe that you can buy a blade with a silicon leading edge to get over this. Better if it was supplied in the first place. The other issue is that the bowl tightens as it mixes which can make it hard to twist the bowl off the stand. Thus 4* but still the best mixer I’ve owned. My cakes are a lot lighter!
One thing that I do like is that the white beaters can go in the dish washer.

Anyone that has ever owned a KitchenAid product, should know, that this is one of the best! Look out for sales, as the mixer is a bit on the expensive side, but you’ll never look back after getting one of these! It will make everything so much easier and once you get the hang of it, you can start building your attachment collection, that can help you with various other tasks, such as making fresh pasta from scratch, or creating that perfect burger patty with just the right amount of fat and meats in the meat grinder!
So versatile! I recommend every kitchen have one of these!
You will never regret this purchase!

I waited for years to get a kitchen aid mixer. Got this on massive sale here in 2019. I LOVE it!
The only 2 issues I have are as follows:
1. Wish the mixing bowl had a handle on it (I think they’re available to buy separately)
2. I find changing the mixing arm a but tough. It goes on fine, but taking it off takes me ages. I may just need more practice.
My specialty cookies used to take an hour to prep/mix. Now the mixing takes less than a minute! Saving soo much time!

I had my eye on this decades ago. And had cheaper versions of stand mixers, which I had to be careful not to overheat when kneading bread. This machine is very heavy, and can kneading bread with ease, can mix cake batter perfectly, etc. I am sure it will last years, and it has made my life so much easier when baking! Thank you!

I owned this mixer for 20+ years in the US but it wasn’t rated for 220v so I had to leave it behind. Now I have one here in the UK and it’s still as good as ever. I’m not a big fan of the spring-action lever to lift and set down the head, but it’s a minor complaint and probably some kind of new safety feature. I expect this will have as long a life as my original mixer did. I use it mainly for baking but also just started using a sheeter attachment, too, which is pretty nifty. Others may have heavier duty (e.g., commercial) requirements but for my home needs, this is perfect.

What is not to like about the awesome kitchenaid mixer except the price😒 But waited a long time for it and hit on a deal on prime day, I was so happy. This machine is so sturdy, well made and doesn’t shuffle off the counter when making bread.
