The item it’s self I have no issues with very happy. However customers need to be aware that the packaging very clearly tells everyone what’s in the box. So if left on door steps etc potentially makes theft more likely. I think this needs reviewing.

Perfect mini nespresso coffee machine.
I had this model previously and used it daily for 5 years but a few weeks ago it finally gave up on me. It’s an older model and not currently on the Nespresso site so I had to search for an alternative.
As I didn’t want to wait for a delivery of 2 weeks without coffee I chose to purchase the L’Or sublime machine. Unfortunately it was a major disappointment. I could not get a decent coffee despite using my usual pods and the usual amount of water. I was frustrated, disappointed and caffeine deprived! I returned the machine and decided to order a replacement mini essenza. This supplier delivered quickly and I am back with a neat, easy to use machine which delivers perfect coffee every time. I couldn’t be happier.

Bought from UK Nespresso store on Amazon UK and came with a European plug……. Waste of time.

What I love about this model is that it is so slim, and fits well into to my tiny kitchen. The coffee is excellent, and ready in 3 minutes. It came with a 3 pin plug. I choose the grey and black model because it promised next day delivery, and the other colours only offered 4 day delivery. On closer inspection I noticed that the longer delivery time was because they were being posted from a company in Germany. I imagine that the plug would be 2 pin. There were 9 free coffee capsules within the box. They gave a web site to visit for more free samples, but this sight wasn’t active. I tried the UK and Germany. But I’m still very pleased with the coffee maker.

There was some issues getting it delivered which were UPS problems not the seller , the seller did resolve the issues very quickly and efficiently and coffee machine arrived very quickly once they got involved .. it’s great little machine and does exactly what I need it to do plus takes up very little space which is just what I needed .

Overall pleased with the item. However, it was not a UK packaged unit (European plug with UK adapter) and did not come with 14 pods as indicated by the listing. As the cost of the missing pods is around £3.50 and the supplied EU/UK adapter is quite sleek I did not return the item or go beyond trying to let Amazon know the listing needs amending. Once it’s beyond the warranty period I will replace the EU plug as although the adapter is sleek it does stick out further than a UK plug.

Köpte denna maskin då det började bli svårt att hitta espresso kapslar till min nuvarande tassimo maskin. Kapslar till denna nespresso maskin finns i stort urval i alla livsmedelsaffärer. Använder maskinen i husbilen och den lilla storleken samt enkelheten att använda är helt optimalt. Dessutom mycket gott kaffe såväl vanligt lungo som espresso. Jag är så nöjd så jag överväger att köpa ytterligare en att ha hemma.

Non voglio farVi la solita recensione in cui si riportano una marea di dati specifici che alla fine li potete leggere tranquillamente anche qui nelle caratteristiche del prodotto redatte da Amazon ( poichè sono già esaurienti e complete) ma vorrei andare un po’ oltre sperando magari di essere utile per coloro che magari non hanno mai preso una macchinetta per il caffè.
> Per prima cosa stabiliamo subito che MAI avrete un caffè come al BAR ( con una buona macchinetta abbinata a capsule di ottima qualità ci andrete vicino)
> Scegliere una macchina di un marchio leader del settore (tipo queste Nespresso, le Dolcegusto, Lavazza, ecc. ) per 2 motivi ESSENZIALI: da una parte solitamente sono ottime macchine e dall’altra vi daranno la FACOLTA’ di reperire in modo semplice eventuali CAPSULE COMPATIBILI ( capsule NON ORIGINALI DEL PRODUTTORE ma bensì realizzate da altre aziende di caffè che in modo “parassitario” cercano di portare via clienti copiando la forma della capsula)………. all’inizio questa cosa potrà sembrare una sciocchezza ma poi vedrete che è FONDAMENTALE per non essere vincolati ad un unico marchio ( pensate a quelle macchine pubblicizzate in tv in cui vi viene proposta gratis pagando solo le cialde iniziali, ecco la fregatura sta lì, poichè potrete acquistare le capsule solo da loro perchè in giro non troverete nessuno che le produrrà). ——>>> ECCO le CAPSULE Nespresso sono le più imitate e quindi facili da reperire! (anche al Supermercato).

lo chiedo perchè se siete amanti di SOLO CAFFè allora meglio una NESPRESSO, altrimenti se amate le varie bevande calde (tè, capuccino, cioccolata, e tutte le altre) allora Vi consiglio decisamente una DOLCEGUSTO; ve lo dico perchè sono possessore di entrambe e Vi posso garantire che DOLCEGUSTO sulle bevande STRAVINCE di brutto su queste Nespresso (anche se le capsule esistono se cercate tra le compatibili ma sono imbevibili) invece sul caffè vincono le Nespresso perchè in verità il vantaggio è dato dal miglior rapporto qualità\prezzo dato dalla concorrenza delle compatibili (mi riferisco al fatto che molti marchi come Borbone, Illy, L’or, hag, Kimbo, Vergnano, Splendid, e molti altri ) realizzano capsule con caffè talvolta migliore dell’originale Nespresso e ad un prezzo anche molto inferiore ( non sempre ovviamente) mentre le capsule per la DOLCEGUSTO sono ottime se prese originali ma quasi sempre ( io in realtà non ne ho ancora trovate) le compatibili fanno pietà.
>quindi se cercate la macchina principalmente per il caffè e Vi state chiedendo …..
QUAL’è LA MIGLIORE MACCHINA NESPRESSO?
Bè la risposta è che alla fine sono tutte uguali tra di loro ( nella sostanza hanno lo stesso “motore” che spinge per fare in caffè a 19 bar) cambia più che altro il guscio esterno che può essere più economico completamente in plastica come per questa e per la Inissia oppure con parti in metallo come la U o la Pixie ( 2 modelli decisamente più raffinati) e ovviamente anche qualche piccola funzione in più.
Veniamo ad una breve descrizione più specifica di questa macchinetta:
Come fa presagire il nome Essenza Mini le caratteristiche identificative sono il fatto di essere mini di dimensioni e essenziale nelle funzioni; essendo piccola risulta adatta anche a chi ha spazio limitato per posizionarla ma ovviamente questo porta ad aver di contro meno disponibilità d’acqua (0.6 litri) e necessità di svuotare frequentemente lo spazio delle capsule usate (4-5 non di più), personalmente lo preferisco perchè obbliga tutti a non fare stagnare acqua nel vano e avere sempre acqua fresca nel serbatoio.
Non ha il tasto accensione separato ossia, si accende SEMPLICEMENTE premendo uno dei 2 tasti di selezione della lunghezza del caffè che lampeggeranno fino al momento che la temperatura per funzionare non sarà raggiunta (circa 25 secondi da fredda).
NON HA SPIE CHE INDICANO CHE SI STA PER TERMINARE L’ACQUA (questo secondo me è l’unico vero difetto)…. sulla Pixie e sulla U invece che un led che le illumina di rosso.
Il processo di realizzazione del caffè è interamente automatico ( completamente automatica è la U) cioè con questa si preme ACCENSIONE, si solleva LA LEVA NERA POSTA SULLA PARTE SUPERIORE ( che farà eventualmente espellere la capsula esausta usata in precedenza se non già tolta), INSERIRE capsula nuova, ABBASSARLA per chiudere e PREMERE tasto caffè corto o lungo a scelta….. a questo punto vi verrà erogato il caffè ( ma la capsula ora usata resterà li fino a quando non si solleverà nuovamente la leva nera).
2 ulteriori CONSIGLI personali:
>Acquistate la macchinetta della NESPRESSO che al momento amazon offre ad un prezzo più basso (salvo ovviamente che non necessitate di un modello in particolare) in quanto come anticipato in precedenza il risultato finale del caffè non cambia da una o un’altra ( usando stesso caffè ovviamente) ve lo dice un distruttore di macchinette che in casa possiede Essenza Mini, Pixie ed la U ( più ovviamente la Dolcegusto ).
>Se andrete ad usare le capsule compatibili per le macchine NESPRESSO, EVITATE (ripeto ancora evitate) quelle che sono realizzate delle stesse misure delle originali ma che sono fatte in plastica dura perchè dopo anni di prove ed esperimenti con qualsiasi compatibile trovato in commercio ho notato che tali capsule portano (per via del meccanismo interno di foratura della capsula della macchinetta) alla rottura della vostra NEspresso, pertanto o andate su compatibili realizzate in alluminio (tipo le L’Or, Splendid, Hag, Illy) oppure andate sulle Borbone o Kimbo che anche se in plastica sono però leggermente più corte (questo fa si di non recar danni) ma già aperte nel dietro (da dove entrerà l’acqua)…………..Tra l’altro queste sono quelle che preferisco come sapore e costano pure molto di meno.

Am pleased with our Nespresso coffee maker, but disappointed with delivery. We are both in our 80 Plus years and normally deliveries by Amazon are no bother at all. We happened to be out as delivery date hadn’t been advised – so we had to go and find the address to collect. Not ideal
