Mower cuts very well and creates desired stripes, however as other reviews have mentioned, there are two fundamental issues:
1. The cord is far too short at 10m. The mower is sold to be for larger gardens therefore the short cord is quite inexcusable as it means the cord is constantly getting rugged down even when an extension is being used.
2. The grass box does not secure on correctly when it gets heavy with collected grass. The grass collector box is sturdy enough however the fitting flap on the mower is not secure therefore the grass flicks over the flap when it gets heavy.
The weight of the mower is reasonable enough and it easy to push even uphill.
These flaws are a real shame as the performance of the mower if very good when considering its cutting ability.

Not practical as a lawnmower. Read all the previous reviews and saw all the issues with it but thought I’d still give it a go as it is a large mower size to cut my large garden. Wish I hadn’t have bought it now. Package arrived slightly damaged with some holes and broken corner on the box. The mower itself was intact so proceeded to assemble it, which was pretty straightforward. Plugged it in to test it was working and it started no problems. Had it plugged into the kitchen at the time and the lead barely made it to the grass! I think it’s a ten meter lead but it’s SUPER SHORT. Anyway plugged it into my extension lead and set the mower to the second lowest level. Started to cut. The grass was a bit dry so the first thing I mortars the amount of dust that was coming flying out of the back of the mower because the grass collection tray and the lid do not sit well. Then I hit a slightly uneven bit of grass and the mower was literally stuck. It has very latge rear wheels but small front wheels and I think the front edge of the mower is so low it just hits the slightest divot or clump grass and gets stuck. So you kind of have to push down on the handle bar to raise the front which means the level is inconsistent as you have to keep lifting the front which means to the mower. After bout five minutes of use it cut out. I thought maybe I had pulled the log out of the socket as the lead is so short you’re constantly pulling it and moving. Checked ply it was in. Checked socket in shed it was in to. So I thought maybe I’d blown the dust so dismantled the plug on my extension and this was fine also. Put it back and plugged back in and it started working again so carried on mowing only for it to cut out again a short while later. Checked all the plugs again and carried on. This happened about four times. By the fifth time of it cutting out I got fed up dismantled the mower and put it back in the box to be returned. I don’t know if I have a faulty unit or what but I now have a half cut patchy lawn and a mower that I can’t use awaiting a collection. Definitely would not recommend anyone buying this mower. It’s a cheap Chinese knock and definitely is NOT a so called ‘lawn master’!!

first cut of the year, grass was long. the powerful motor made it a breeze. easy assembly, large grass box, not too loud. all in all a solid, quality purchase. delivery by dpd was a nice bonus.

Being of the older generation, I needed to consider what I was capable of handling. It took me 30 minutes to assemble ( instructions were printed very small and not easy to understand) but it was reasonably simple and achieved. It is not self propelled (you would need petrol power) but manoeuvreable with a push, would not recommend on uneven ground ( more effort), I use for the edges round the borders where my ride-on mower fails to reach. On low setting it cuts nice and short, collecting the cuttings and holds a remarkable amount. Overall satisfied but would not want to cut a large lawn, it serves my purpose.

Even though i’d only used my strimmer to cut the grass, because it had grown that much, this mower which I put on the high level, had to be put on the lowest, because it managed to go through it so easily. My grass is also very thick, and it had no problems cutting through it. Very happy with it. It was also easy to put together.

Really didn’t expect this to be great but really works well. Wheel looks and feels bit flimsy. Probably not great on muddy situations but the big wheels do help. Cuts grass clean and efficiently. Used the mulching plug and the base remains so clean and not stuck grass even on damp grass.

Bought this to replace a self propelled petrol mower which has got too heavy for us to manage. This LawnMaster mower is great. It cuts very well, even on my bumpy lawn, and isn’t hard to push. The grass collection bag is the best I have ever had, although at first it was tricky to fit to the mower. Had to contact supplier as accidentally damaged a minor part, they replied within hours and sent a free replacement the next day. Excellent service from them, and very happy with the mower, and not having any clippings to rake up after finishing mowing. Picked this mower from a Which? review, great value for money.
