Gavin Edwards –
The product supplied is not the spec of computer that the Amazon listing claims, the actual computer comes fitted with 8GB RAM and a 256GB M2. NVMe drive. It was shipped with an 8GB RAM upgrade to provide the 16GB RAM advertised. However a second 256Gb M2 NVMe drive was also delivered but the computer only has a single M2 drive mounting bay so can not be used to upgrade the drive capacity. The Lenovo box provides no external listing of the computer specification other than being an M70Q Gen 4, and its serial numbers. I have just spent most of a half day taking the machine through it’ initial installation and downloading all the drivers and updates followed by installing software. The drive now contains data that I do not want to share and the computer was intended to be in use within 24 hours so returning it is not a simple option.
I would advice anyone thinking of buying one of the computers to look for a more reputable source.
