Bought this to help with pain relief due to arthritis and a slightly sagging mattress over six years old. The topper is comfortable to lie on and has helped enormously with levelling off the mattress surface. The pain relief is good under normal circumstances except when I have an arthritic flare up in my back and hip, but then nothing helps in that situation. The only negative is the smell from the foam which lasted approx 4 days, but I felt it was a small price to pay for comfort and it did eventually go. I have covered my topper with a mattress protector with elasticated deep sides which I just tucked under the topper. This makes it easier to put a fitted sheet over the top as I found the sheet would catch on the foam making it difficult to make the bed. I would add that the egg box construction means that the foam is not overly hot as other memory foam products can be and is very supportive.

When I first open the package I had a bit of a shock thinking this is not like the picture if looked much less then 5cm and the shape was irregular. I left the topper open when I returned about 2 hours later the shape had changed completely and it was perfect. I have seen people complaining about the smell but I couldn’t smell anything at all. Put it on the bed that same night and it felt so comfortable. I have been sleeping for the past 2 weeks much better, I am not going to say that I sleep like an angel because I never did. But the bed is much more comfortable and the extra cm are quite nice. This will save me buying a new mattress soon. Exactly what I was looking for, and the price is quite low for the quality of the product. You wouldn’t get any better for this price. I would recommend with out a doubt. The pain in my back somehow improved but the main difference is that I don’t keep rolling in the bed trying to find a comfortable position to sleep I am comfortable immediately.

I bought this to go on top of a new foam mattress that my wife and I bought from Ikea. In the shop the mattress felt firm but comfortable. When our mattress was delivered it was VERY firm and I guess it will soften a little in time. In the meantime we needed something to add softness before we died of sleep deprivation.
Initially we bought a mattress topper containing fibre material from Dunelm and it did add a tiny amount of softness but in reality we still wanted to give up state secrets by the end of each night. Next we bought the “Rejuvopedic” 10 cms (4 Inch) King Microfibre Mattress Topper from Amazon and put that on top. Again there was some improvement and I’m sure on most mattresses that would do but not with this mattress.
After much research I chose this mattress topper and it arrived early. I unpacked it and yes there is a slight chemical smell that means you are meant to leave it to air for a couple of days but we couldn’t wait for that. I added that to the two previous mattress toppers and this one really makes a difference.
The hallucinations have stopped and we are now getting back into a more normal sleep pattern.
I don’t know what kind of people buy the firm mattress from Ikea but I’m sure humans can’t sleep on them. Perhaps this proves the existence of extra terrestrials or machines from the future. Whatever is the case, humans can survive on them if they get this mattress topper.

Mattress topper on my king-size bed, never slept so well, absolutely fantastic. It certainly took about six days for the smell to leave it but one of my best buys yet 👍👍👍

This mattress topper arrived when stated and well wrapped. Once I unpacked it I left it on top of the bed in a well ventilated bedroom for a few hours. It didn’t smell as bad as others had stated and had went into shape within 2 hours. I made up the bed maybe 4 hours later and as I have fitted sheets did not require a cover or straps to hold it in place, you will need deep fitted sheets for this. It is very comfortable asi get pain in my shoulder and neck. Whilst it didn’t completely take the pain away ( I’ve only used it 2 nights) the pain has much improved. I have now ordered one for the spare room as it adds a layer of extra comfort. Very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend.

This has made a great addition to my bed and is really comfortable.
The smell however, is really strong! I’ve had the topper for four days now and I can still smell the chemical odour when I walk into the room and obviously at night, when I go to bed. That’s the only downside though. Hopefully in a week or so it won’t smell as bad.
