   I purchased the LUCID King Gel Memory Foam Mattress on Amazon, and it has been a game-changer for my sleep quality.
   The cooling gel feature is a standout for me. Living in a warmer climate, I was concerned about overheating during the night. The gel-infused memory foam effectively regulates temperature, keeping me cool and comfortable throughout the night. It’s a noticeable difference compared to traditional mattresses.

   Setting up the mattress was hassle-free. It expanded to its full size within a few hours, and there were no lingering odors commonly associated with memory foam mattresses.

   In terms of value for money, the LUCID King Gel Memory Foam Mattress is a wise investment. The quality of sleep it provides is unmatched, and considering the price point, it offers great value compared to other mattresses in the market.

   UPDATE
   It’s been 26 months since I purchased this mattress, and it has completely sagged now. I can no longer sleep on it, and my back hurts as a result. Therefore, I now looking to buy a new one. Overall, if you’re looking for a mattress that will last roughly a year or two, this one is a good choice (see my original comment below). However, if you need something more durable, I recommend looking for a more robust option.

   I deliberately waited over a year to provide the most objective review. Here it is:

   – The initial impression of the mattress was excellent. It arrived compressed and quickly expanded after unpacking.
   – The mattress is quite thin. If you sit on it, you’ll feel the bed frame. However, when lying down, everything is fine because the weight is evenly distributed, and there’s no discomfort (my weight is 80 kg).
   – It’s firm. This is highly individual, but I have had serious back problems since childhood, and finding a truly comfortable mattress has always been challenging. This one suits me at 9 out of 10, although I had to get used to it initially.
   – After 14 months of daily use, I feel that the foam has minimally sagged in the areas where I usually lie. Nothing serious so far, but it’s likely to worsen over time.

   While I am strict about mattresses due to the peculiarities of my spine, I didn’t have high expectations for this one. I was planning to buy an inexpensive mattress for a rented apartment. Surprisingly, this one I really like. Although I had to get used to its thickness initially, because I could feel the bed frame on my knees sometimes. Yes, it has minimal sagging (hence only 4 stars), but that’s expected for the price, so I’m okay with it.

   Among other conditions, I have rheumatoid arthritis and a hiatus hernia, so bought an adjustable bed around 18 months ago in the hope of improving both sleep quality and duration, along with a hybrid mattress (coil springs and memory foam top). After just over a year, the springs in the mattress poked through at the bend point of the bed, so a new mattress had to be bought.
   Deciding to go for a fully foam mattress this time, I bought this one.
   What a difference! Although initially I thought it might be a bit too soft, this mattress has resulted in less pain, and both better quality sleep and more of it. Previously, I thought I was doing well with 5 hours of – interrupted – sleep, now I’m sleeping straight through for 7 – 8 hours, something totally unheard of since before I became ill. In the morning, I have less pain and actually feel rested. I should also add that due to worsening of my medical conditions, I now have to spend most of my day *on* my bed, and so far, this mattress shows no sign of developing bend creases, or of developing depressions where I sit/lie, it just bounces back.
   To say that I love this mattress would be an understatement, as it’s made a *huge* difference to my quality of life, both night and day, giving both adequate support and real comfort. I’m just so glad I bought it, and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who has similar problems to myself.
   It also comes with a removeable, zippered mattress cover for easy washing; nearly forgot that bit 😉

   The mattress was initially very good and used in the guest bedroom. However even with such sparse use it’s become uncomfortable and it’s difficult to find a position that’s comfortable and I’ve noticed also I wake up with pins and needles in my arms due to the weight not being correctly managed by the mattress.

   A shame really as I had high hopes for this.

   where to begin, First off the mattress is firm, but don’t let that put you off It does soften up, I suffer from Arthritis and have found this Lucid gel memory foam mattress to be excellent value, it didn’t take long for it to inflate to it’s height of just over 20cms hardly any chemical smell on unravelling it, I left it to breath for 12 hours and it was fine, First night it took me time to adjust to having a new mattress but after a few days it was fine, mattress started to soften up, After two weeks using it I’m finding I get to sleep quicker than I have in years, not saying I’m pain free but I don’t feel as bad as I was on my old mattress, I’m very happy with my experience using it, but what’s right for me might not be for you, everyone is different in that respect, would I recommend the mattress yes it’s fine so far, give this mattress a try and see if it’s for you, if not then send it back no harm done.
