I bought this due to my wired one being too heavy for me to use (I have osteoarthritis in my neck and shoulder). My hedge is not small, as you can see from the photo. Two batteries were used and I done the whole hedge in a couple of hours (back of house too)… this trimmer has a grass cutter blade too, ideal for under the hedge. For the money, this trimmer is amazing, easy to use, lightweight and sturdy. Honestly, it’s saved me tons of time because I didn’t have to stop halfway through.

Initial apparently very “plasticy” – but on 3 batches of work : it’s tougher that I thought.
Cut well and the battery gave more than the 40 minutes I expected.
The tool is balanced is use and appreciated the changing of angles for different positions.
So far a “5”.
BUT I nearly sent the tool back to Amazon as “useless”. The plastic frame was so badly finished that the Shear tool would NOT push into position. It finally took 2 “strong men” to force the Shear into place – I could NOT mount it myself (13 stone and fit ). Spoilt by final inspection without checking installation of each tool.
So : only 4 / 5 !

No doubt like everyone else i bought this to help with some shrubs and bushes when i don’t want to get the big hedge trimmer out and it does the job really well. It’s relatively lightweight, seems robust and well made and charges quite quickly. The blades are easy to swap from the small horizontal shear blade to the longer trimmer blade. All in all a well made product that will hopefully last a while.

Nice and light to use for light branches and bushes but not thick hard branches or stems
For quick trim is great so far. this was the initiial test.
When I actually went to use the trimmer to trim my hedge the trimmer has burnt out already of first use cutting my hedge with only one use.

Compact battery powered hand tool. 2 batteries provide, although only needed the one for a large area of cutting. Charges really quickly, with basic plug.
With choice of 2 blades, the longer blade is sharp, and perfect for hedge trimming. The shorter blade great for grass trimming, both just clip on the front.
The head has an angle movement, so you can move it for getting into difficult areas.
Really lightweight to use, with versatile uses and movements.
Very easy to use, clip on attachment and clip on the battery. One button to operate.
Cost and size are reasonable for storage if your limited.

This cutter is perfect for bushes and shrubs which it cuts well with excellent power.
I’ve not used it on bigger stuff yet but happy with the performance.
Attachments require a bit of force to swap in and out.
Build wise it’s quite plasticky, but this makes it lightweight and durable.
Two batteries is a bonus as well, just keep them charged up if you’re doing jobs which will take longer than an hour

This is a great compact hedge trimmer, I’ve used it a couple of times now and it’s so easy to use and change heads.
Nice clean cuts on the hedge.
Charging the batteries is easy and it comes with two batteries so you carry on cutting the hedge while one is charging.
I would highly recommend it and I look forward to using next time the hedge needs a trim.
