Meets all the advertised criteria and works fine in the prgrammes (I like the like clean programme and the smoothie programme makes excellent smoothies). Quite noisy even though they say quieter than others but heavy enough to avoid any movement on the worktop. The jug is very heavy and may not be suitable for someone with frailties to lift when full. The only problem I have is moving the blade assembly over to the additional blender cups I also purchased. The black plastic screw ring has a large circumference to get a good grip with small hands and you have to make sure its tightend securely to avoid leaks on the cups (seems a bit easier on the jar as you have a handle to sready it) and you have to use the spatualler handle as a lever in slots on the ring (as per the instruction manual) to both tighten and loosen off ( as you have to for the cups to get the contents out). Even then then takes some force and I have to get my husband to do it with larger hands. So a bit of a phaff if swapping regularly between Jar and Cups. Needs some sort of easier grip plastic spanner rather that the thin awkward to grip spatualler handle. The blender cups ought to come with their own blade assembly (considering the high price for what they are) to save keep swapping over. I am not convinced the plastic ring will last either as very thin. Improvement needed Magimix.

I got a bargain used from the warehouse [even if its previous owner appeared to have put it through its paces]. That said, it blends smoothies perfectly, purees a tomato soup to perfection, makes bread crumbs and I have no doubt it will blend my oats down too.
The jug is glass, so yeah it’s going to be heavy. To clean, just add some water, a drop of washing up liquid and put it back on for the clean cycle.
I chose the Magimix over the Ninja blender & soup maker because of warranty, the Magimix seems to have more faith in their product.

It’s an ill wind that doesn’t blow some good, and when I accidentally set fire to my Tefal soup maker, (I stood it on the top of the hob, then lit the gas under the wrong burner!) I consoled myself by buying this to replace it. It might not cook things, but it’s an awful lot easier to clean.
It looks fantastic. Very clean, uncluttered lines, with a very nice finish to the base (I chose the cream version) and a very solid feel, the glass jug is attractive as it’s square, which also means it’s easy to pour the contents. Very simple, self explanatory controls. I love the fact that the jug lifts out without having to turn it, which, on my Kenwood, for example, often means it’s really hard to remove. The ‘docking port’ is so simple and easy to clean, with a gully to allow any liquid to run out. And, of course, it’s very easy to clean. All I have to do is remember to put the lid on, which I didn’t first time, and ended up with tomato and lentil soup in my hair. You can’t design against stupidity!

A fantastic quality blender with a completely unrivalled warranty. Although lumps can sometimes get stuck at the top and need stirring/ pushing down to come into contact with the blades, with a little patience it is up to pureeing absolutely anything including vast quantities of ice or frozen fruit/ veg. Disassembly and washing are pretty straightforward and the base is pleasingly non-slip so it won’t move around while you’re blending. The only downside as far as I can see is the amount of noise it makes when blending hard things like ice. However, I think this is unavoidable, and not a fault of this blender.

Excellent quality blender, the main reason I purchased this one is the noise level (unfortunately due to PTSD I am unable to cope with sustained loud noise) which I am happy to say it lives up to its billing. It is also very easy to use, has a large capacity jug which is not to heavy and very well made. It has a very tight fitting lid with a handy measuring cup. Yes this blender is on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for and for me it’s money well spent

A good heavyweight addition to my kitchen machinery

Superb blender which does everything it says on the tin. Sturdy and quiet for a blender. The only issue I have is after intense reviewing of several products I chose this as I have 41cm clearance from worktop to base of overhead cupboard. Dimensions state a height of 40.5cms. Turns out this it at least a centimetre too short. I have moved it to another less handy location but beware if you are tight for height.

I’m on my third Magimix blender, and really like the blender’s looks and abilities. Unfortunately this version is noisy – noisier than my previous version, and definitely not deserving of a ‘quiet’ moniker.
Additionally the jug doesn’t sit tight on unit, rather it wobbles a bit. Doesn’t affect the blending, just a bit annoying.
Feels like build quality has dropped a little. Wouldn’t be the first time a product’s quality has dropped to save costs.
