Vehicle assembled according to the instructions that came in the box. The usb and music panel works, but the vehicle does not run, the engine does not react at all

Bought this for my niece for christmas, was a bit awkward to put together but overall not too bad. Battery was dead so had to charge for an hour before testing if worked. Instructions were a bit unclear on how this turns on, but easy once figured out. Niece loves it!!
For anyone buying – the lights and music turn on seperatley to the engine.
Lights and music turn on by pressing and holding one of the buttons on the front.
The engine turns on by putting the backrest all the way down, as there’s a button underneath it that needs to be pressed for the motor to run. Took me a little while to figure this out so putting it here in case anyone else has the same issue.
Does not have any indicator to tell you its charging or when charging is finished, as far as I could tell.
