Took me 40 mins to build it myself, looks really good and is sturdy. Delivery time was amazing, ordered Wednesday night and said it would arrive between Saturday and Monday but it came on the Friday – before the delivery window. Delivery is usually a pain in the IV30 postcode so it was welcome surprise.
I bought this as I downsized from having the 6ft corona table. It was much easier to assemble than the 6ft one, maybe all the fixtures and holes were drilled in the right spaces and lined up better this time.
I would recommend this table. The last one is still as sturdy as it was and looks good and it’s 5 years old.

I have many pieces of Mercers furniture and it has always been nice and solid. Someone stated that the table top is one piece in the answers, but it is 2 pieces (I guess delivery would be tricky otherwise) for my 90x152cm table. It looks great as you can see on the first photo. It is just a shame that the two parts of the table top have a slight gap of a few millimetres, as the front and rear edges meet, but the centre of the table is not quite as wide. I show this on both sides of the table in the second and 3rd photo. It is not due to how I assembled it, as it cannot go any closer as the outer edges are hard against each other (LHS of picture 2 and RHS of picture 3).

This is a brilliant table I love it. Solid wood, rustic look, very sturdy when built. I’m really happy with it. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, I built it myself in about 45 minutes. It looks the part I hope it is with us for many years to come. Great value for the price too.

Great value table for the price. Was very straightforward to assemble. Prompt response from seller too. However, it’s untreated and dry wood. When we sprayed on the first coat of table wax, the wood immediately soaked it in! We will be doing a few layers of wax to protect the table as the wood is relatively softer and easily got nicked by falling cutlery – most likely would be easily stained by spills too. But solid and sturdy table for price. We got two tables and it made a great 8 seater table so size wise, it was perfect too. Would recommend

Was unsure what to expect but good quality and simple to assemble. Tip – the dowels that join the table top are a tad too long when you glue. I glued one side then cut 5mm off each dowel then it tightens up lovely without the gap other reviews have mentioned. I also waxed it with a light wax from amazon at 6 quid and it looks awsome! Well chuffed!
