Read previous reviews before purchasing. Body of strimmer is very cheap plastic. Easy to assemble photo directions I leaflet unsure why people complain of instructions not being in English?!. Used both the circular blade and metal blade and it made short work over over a foot tall neglected lawn!. And no stopping to sort out a snapped line! Batteries not the ones advertised but who cares it charges and it works. Would not go back to a line strimmer Was skeptical but in my opinion money well spent

One of the good things about this is also a big problem. It is so light that when the circular blade catches the ground it can flick the whole thing into your feet. A circular saw flashing towards your feet does not make for a pleasant experience. I now have a hole In my shoe but at least I still have all my toes. This thing needs VERY careful handling and is definitely an accident waiting to happen. I want to like it but there’s no way I’m risking my toes like that again. OK, so on the good side it is light, easy to assemble, quiet and the batteries seem reasonable. You just need to invest in steel toe cap shoes.

Batteries last about an hour if cutting brambles from fully charged. It’s lightweight, cordless and really easy to set up, got to admit, it’s a pretty great strimmer for a standard garden. Several different attachments which is great for different types of garden. The blades or head of the strimmer is small, but it does the job really well. Definitely recommend for standard gardens. It’s circular blades cut small trees down with not too much effort. The flat blades are shredding a good amount of bramble and the other attachments are great too. Defiantly good value for money.

This is the best strimmer I’ve ever had! It cuts through long weeds and grass easily. As this is cordless, it has two batteries which should be adequate for anybody with a small to medium sized garden. It’s easy to use and lightweight. It has plenty of different blades. I used the plastic cutting blade today and managed to cut through overgrown rockery weeds without an issue, by the time I’d finished, the blade was left with just one side to it, I didn’t mind that as I don’t have to faff about with strimmer cutting plastic stuff! This is way easier and I’m delighted with the results 😊

Absolutely great. I couldn’t be happier with this strimmer. It’s worth the price . It cuts branches it cuts the lawn it strims the edges and pavement weeds and gaps . It has a Telescopic pole it’s very lightweight but sturdy it has multiple blades plastic and metal. Fits nicely in the shed. Very quiet with lithium batteries x2. Gloves and safety glasses.

This item has increased in price since I bought it, I paid £45 so my comments are based on that price. To be honest I wasn’t expecting too much for under fifty quid so I was pleasantly surprised, it is very, very light, but it does the job surprisingly well, I haven’t tried the plastic or wire strimmer’s yet as I’ve had weeds, brambles, bushes and pampas grass to cut.
The cutting disc does work and can manage pretty thick stems, at least half an inch, but you do have to take it slowly or it will jam. The metal blades shred everything although the supplied ones don’t last very long. They’re also not really sharp as they’ve been stamped out but not ground. I bought some additional blades as spares and they’re much better, heavier, stronger and actually sharp! With this fitted the strimmer tore through several years worth of brambles in no time reducing them to mulch.
As I’ve mentioned the tool is light, it’s also quite adaptable as the shaft telescopes, the cutting head swivels and the second handle can be moved around. You can use it as a strimmer or compact it down and flatten the head angle to cut bushes. The telescoping is controlled by a thumb button which is easy & convenient, it seems quite sturdy although you can feel a slight wobble. The blade guard is quite small, it feels a bit like a toy but if mishandled it could be quite dangerous, but used sensibly with the care you should show when using any power tool, you should be safe. One reviewer says they managed to cut their shoe, I honestly don’t know how, I can only assume they had the handle really short so the blade was close to their feet.
Battery life has been better than expected, I was getting 25 minutes or so per battery cutting really thick brambles which I think is reasonable especially since it seems to cut perfectly well right up until the battery is exhausted when it stops, and you’ve got a spare battery to go. Used to strim grass I could see it going around an hour.
Downsides? The main one is that a 15cm blade is pretty small, it’s great for a small garden but if you’ve got a large area to do it’s going to take time. Also it’s not a particularly powerful motor, it certainly gets the job done, but you have to pace your cutting to avoid bogging down in dense foliage or when using the cutting disc but my experience so far has been that provided I went at an appropriate pace it’s cut everything I’ve attempted which has primarily been several years growth of very tough brambles and dense pampas grass.
If you can still pick up one of these for around the price I paid, I think it’s excellent value and I certainly think that, provided it lasts, I’ll be using it a lot as it’s so light and convenient anywhere you can’t easily get a lawnmower. My suggestion though is to spend an extra £6 and pick up some heavier duty metal blades to get the best results.
