It does have a decent stick but it has fell off twice (when not in use!) and I’ve had to move it to a new location to get that good seal again. All in all its average at best but it doesn’t live up to its promises. Also the original areas where it was stuck to (before falling off) have warped so bare that n mind if you actually like your car!

I needed a phone holder quickly because my car was going into the shop for extensive bodywork, and I wasn’t sure if the rental would have Apple CarPlay. I’ve used vent-mounted holders in the past and always found them frustrating—either they fell out or damaged the vent fins. I had honestly sworn off this type of design—until I saw this one.
This holder changed my mind. Installation was quick and intuitive—similar to snapping a Garmin GPS onto its mount (insert part A into the ball of part B, then tighten the nut to secure). It locks the phone in place at the angle I set, and it hasn’t budged since.
A major bonus: Because it positions the phone right in front of the air vent, it helps keep my phone from overheating during hot summer drives.
I took it on vacation last week and was impressed with how easily it attached and detached in a rental car. The phone drops right into the cradle, with space left for a charging cord. It’s held firmly in place by adjustable side arms that only release when you press a button on the back of the holder.
Note: I tried to use it with my old Garmin Nuvi 2598LM, but it didn’t fit. This cradle is clearly designed for modern smartphones in terms of width, depth, and charging port alignment.
Overall, this is a smart, well-designed phone holder that exceeded my expectations—especially for a vent mount.

Overall this is a good product and it is easy to install and use and it is very adaptable. It comes with a sticky adhesive pad to stick to a dash that is rippled or a non flat surface as well as the suction cup. So far it’s been a very good product.
However we have only had the product and couple of days the plastic nut that holds the main phone holder broke, and the product became pretty much useless. The issue is the plastic nut it very weak where the grips on the outside go in and the material at this point is very thin. This is actually problem with these devices overall. I have fixed this by putting a Jubilee clip around the nut and that stops the split from opening and the main phone holder no longer flops about.
I’m giving this a 4* because of the plastic nut issue and that affects it’s robustness. Other than that it’s a good product.
