Basic toaster, it toasts, it’s not overly massive, don’t bother with a large slice bread, you end up stuffing your finger in. Go for a smaller loaf, don’t be greedy.

Really solid, well-performing toaster that manages everything from sourdough breads and sliced bagels to traditional loaves of bread.
Aside from the defrost setting there aren’t any other features – that said from experience that’s when faults tend to creep in or the performance for standard toasting starts to dwindle.
Was expecting it to be more of a stop gap on the way to buying another toaster to replace the one from John Lewis that had all the bells and whistles but wasn’t very good at any particular setting and gave up the toast – I mean ghost…or do I?
Anyways, will be keeping this one as it’s doing a good job and doesn’t look really ugly compared to the others I was looking at before buying.

This unit is small which helps it to fit into most areas within a kitchen as long as there is a power point near by. It is a simple no frills unit and over the past few day it has given us what we wanted. Toast that is evenly browned on both sides. It has a nice brushed stainless steel finish to it and the controls have a positive feel. One can say very little more about it beyond it works and we hope that it gives long service as did our previous one. One negative point is that the toast does not brown evenly. This is a problem I had with another make of toaster and returned it for a refund. I will see if it changes and then decide what to do about it if the problem persists.

Really disappointed that I am buying from Amazon.com.au and the product is from England and not suitable for the Australian plug socket. This should be highlighted in BIG BOLD TYPING.
What a waste of money.
Now I have to buy an adaptor/ or get the plug converted or buy a new toaster.

Lovely toaster. Has quite wide slots so if you have thick sliced bread, or uneven sliced as homemade can be this toaster is excellent and copes with it brilliantly.
