Sand comes damp, slightly wet. Good for building sandcastles.
You can dry it out and then it can be used for craft purposes used for any other purpose.

Size of pack is very small but to be expected given how cheap it is.

I work as a nursery manager but bought this for my grandchildren to enjoy while at my house, quality was good and we were able to reuse for lots of tuff tray fun

I bought this to make a garden on a model. Mixed with peat and plaster of paris to make a solid soil. The sand was a bit more wet than I expected but it still did it’s job. Looked good and good value for money.

comes a bit damp but once dried out can be great for invert enclosures

    1. This sand arrives wet… Which is strange, but other reviews point this out.
    2. The colour: the colour is deceptive because you think it’s just darker brown because it’s wet sand… Nope, it’s actually dirty sand.. Not even like a clean beach level of dirt. This is not playground sandpit safe levels of processing, or even a beach. This is garden, potplant sand but even then don’t use it for plants in glass cause when you water you will see the dirty marks… which leads me to number three..
    3. I think this has silt in it too. Why?
    4. If you add any water to this, you’ll end up with brown water like it took me over 11 bowl fulls to get the water to run clear – just put the sand in a large bowl and fill it with water, the sand sinks and you’ll see the state of the water once you move the sand.
    5. That brown water will mess up any pva glue for art projects making it dry with a brown tint, decorative tanks (do NOT use this for fish tanks if you want to be able to see the fish…), or sand displays.
    6. If you have any pale carpets, cloths, clean areas (especially if you’re letting a child play with it or mold it with water), be careful or be prepared to wash everything.

Once you’ve let it run clear, the video is the colour you get, which is closer to the picture. There’s a picture with the flash on (of the rinsed sand) and the colour of it in the packet as I didn’t take one before.
So value for money it’s fine, but the quality is not what is advertised and I would not initially use it.

It’s sand what can be said.
Small pack so is expensive .

The package could be use as is. I used it as a weight in a jar for my craft
