The kids’ beach shovels are simple but do the trick. They’re bright, easy for small hands to grip, and sturdy enough for digging in wet sand. My two got on with them straight away. They’re a bit flimsy if used on harder ground, but for the price, they’re spot on for beach playtime.

My children love these spades. The colours are great, really bright and we each have our favourite one so no fighting over them!
We tested them out on the beach and they did the job really well. I have knocked a star off just because I find them a bit bendy and I am concerned that they might bend or break if digging a big bit of sand up but when I asked my children what they thought, they thought they were perfect and weren’t concerned at all about sturdiness.
At £10.99 at the time of review for a set of four, these are great value for money. Recommended.
