    This is my second one of these stick blenders. The first lasted 4 1/2 years with almost daily use which is much longer than any other stick blender that I have owned. The performance is good with lots of power and the price is great. I noted 2 improvements with the new one over the old one. First is the plastic key piece in the shaft that plugs into the spinning part in the handle. The old one used a more brittle black plastic. That is what eventually broke in the old one. The new blender uses the translucent Delrin which is a bit softer and less brittle so should hold up better. The other improvement is where the shaft of the blender opens into the “bell” portion that houses the spinning blade. On the old one, this was 2 pieces and food bits got into that seam and were impossible to clean out so I had to ignore that to avoid being grossed out. On the new blender, that metal shaft and “bell” is a single machined part. So, no seam. Very nice machining work! The new one is working great so far.

    This is a quality item and works as advertised. The accessories are easy to clean. I mainly chose it because I wanted to avoid a battery powered appliance. I kept it but it’s borderline too much appliance for me. For example, if I want to make a protein milkshake in a stainless steel cup it will turn out great, but I have to use the lowest possible setting and be very careful.

    Only used the frothing attachment twice. Not possible to use any other attachment because it is impossible to remove the black plastic connector from the attachment to connect anything else. Hopeless. Returning.
