Ist ne brave Ente. Sagt nicht viel (ist kein Quietscheentchen) und trotzdem hört sie gut zu, wenn man mal ein Problem hat – z.B. beim Programmieren 😛
Dachte von den Produktbildern her, dass sie wäre etwas kleiner wäre. Immerhin hält sie ein kleines Mädchen in den Händen. Mir passt sie ziemlich genau auf eine meiner ausgewachsenen Männerhandflächen. H/B/L = 75mm/65mm/93mm (~35-40mm hoch am Rücken)
Auf der Unterseite sieht man relativ ungleichmäßig verteilt (vermutlich) einen Kleber glänzen, der den Wärmesensor in der Unterseite befestigt. Habe die Ente einfach mal auf die heiße Heizung gelegt um zu gucken ob der Wärmesensor anschlägt. Das HOT-Herz auf der weichen blauen Kunststoffscheibe wird heller. Keine Ahnung ob das auch über Jahre hinweg so klappt. Würde also empfehlen trotzdem mal den Arm ins Wasser zu halten, bevor das Kind sich dann noch im heißen Wasser verletzt.

My daughter for some strange reason is mad about ducks and even her first word was duck not mummy or daddy so she now has quite a big collection of bath time ducks to play with but I wanted another to add to her collection and saw this one with the temperature indicator not really something I was looking for as I find the back of my hand or an elbow more than sufficient but as it looked nice and of good quality with a reasonable price so I went for it.
It is very good quality and no leaks, I did test the duck in some hot water and it worked I just feel it doesn’t really give a good enough indication of temperature and in my opinion not really accurate enough to rely on.

Summary ********** My daughter loves this and I didn’t really get it for the heat testing feature that was just an added extra that in my opinion fails but that said it’s no more expensive than other ducks I looked at and it is indeed very good quality, my daughter would not let it go now and it’s the first duck she looks for at bath time so for that reason I am not being too harsh and giving it 4 stars.

Bought this for when our grandson stays and he loves it. The underside of the duck has a pad that shows “hot” if the water is too warm, which is handy. It’s a cheerful looking duck who’s taken to the water very well.

très joli, pas de trou donc pas de risque de moisissure à l’intérieur, flotte parfaitement, l’indicateur de température est un gadget (pas acheté pour mais comme jouet pour bébé et associer l’objet au bain) je préfère quand même utiliser le thermomètre pour le bain de bébé mais le capteur réagi plutôt bien quand je l’essai sous le jet de la douche, devient blanc de suite et redevient bleu dès qu’il n’est plus en contact avec l’eau

I bought this rubber ducky (Duck Skinner) to accompany me on my stag do and I cannot express how impressed and satisfied I am with how well built and durable this yellow little warrior is.
Duck Skinner not only survived a tomahawk axe to the face but it also survived a 12 gauge shotgun to the face and lived to tell the tale.
If you are worried about durability, I can assure you that Duck Skinner has your back.

This is a wonderful little product, this bright and cheerful duck has a blue temperature indicator that turns white with the heat of the water. It indicates when it is a safe temperature to use the water with a child and takes away the worry. It’s also great that the child can play with it too and could be used for baths, paddling pools and water play activities etc. It has been a great purchase for us and would recommend using a water temperature thermometer for children.

Great for making sure bath water isn’t too hot and also it doesn’t let water in so there’s no risk of it being mouldy. We’ve had this for a few months now and so signs of mould yet! Floats well and my toddler loves it so much we call him “ducky”.

A hidden gem! I’ve been passively on the lookout for a rubber duck to be used as a bathroom decoration piece for ages. Unfortunately, most rubber ducks in today’s market look rather tacky (a duck painted to look like Elvis? No thanks!) and are manufactured using flimsy, thin material. However, this was not the case with the Munchkin 31001 Ducky Hot Safety Bath bath. It perfectly resembles the classic rubber duck of the 80’s and 90’s, but with a subtle modern take. It’s simplified yet slightly outstretched eyes are not only innocent and endearing, but appealing to a wide age demographic. Meanwhile, competitive ducks are either outdated or overly designed with much higher price tags. As a bonus, the item received was not only exactly as pictured and affordable, but made with a thicker, more durable rubber than the typical flimsy ducks found at offline toy stores. One thing to note, because my ducks are for cosmetic purposes only, they have not been tested in waters, hot or otherwise, nor do I intend to use them that way.

Awwwwww I honestly just got this because it is (at the time) the most reasonably priced bath duck I can find. ***Note** duck looks as on sellers photo. Beak is rounded not shaped as seen on some older reviews***
Its super sturdy, floats well and I didn’t want it to squeak as those are harder to clean. My baby is still small And i just wanted something colourful in the bath as I love taking her baby bath photos and this rests perfectly on her to get pictures without making her feel completely exposed.
As for the temperature system, it’s quite sensitive and my baby is now used go water on the warmer side. This is probably not the best method to check water temp. It works by changing the colour of the loveheart from bkue to white. This changed to white frkm both ambient running water and boiled hot water from a kettle (I tested) It just takes longer to revert back to blue if its too hot so I think you’re better off doing the elbow dip to be sure. But after some time you’ll begin to get an idea of what your baby likes. My baby loves a bath but she’ll usually cry a little the first few seconds. It takes a few seconds or minutes for her to realise she is safe and just bath time.
So as i said not the best way to check the temp -use a thermometer for that if you want absolute accuracy but it makes an awesome first bath duck to have. I really like it. It’s makes a great prop to sing duck songs with. Waddle waddle..
