Cut hedge to way l wanted, bit heavy and lifting up to top of hedge was a bit difficult, but it still done the job. Strong mechanical smell when it’s on, but overall good trimmer.

Build quality is great and the weight doesn’t make your arms tire whilst cutting back the hedges.
Managed to cut through some thick bush with this and for the size and power it’s well worth the money.

The animals around you will run away in fear when you turn it on. Ear protection is recommended if you have noise sensitivity.
I’m using it for bindweed wrapped fuschias and a stupid fig that makes so many new shoots. I have long covid so I can only do 10mins with the loppers and then I’d have 2 hours of muscle tremors which meant that I was not able to stay on top of my garden at all. The trimmer is pretty well balanced but it has a funky smell when it’s going that I hope doesn’t mean the motor is going to burn out (will update if it does).
It cuts through the fuschias with extra bindweed very well and also the fig shoots. Definitely makes my 10mins more productive.
This is my 1st hedge trimmer so I don’t know how it compares to others.

I’m in my 60 s and thought I’d ordered a cordless hedge trimmer just to make my life easier with the garden , but decided from other reviews a corded has more power so kept them and they work fine as long as you’re careful with the cord . Did an excellent job . Easy to use and reasonably light weigh ish . So very pleased . Quick delivery .
