I was really impressed with this hedge cutter. It’s surprisingly light, which made trimming my longer hedges much less tiring than with my old, heavier model. Despite its light weight, it feels really solid and well-built – definitely gives the impression it will last.
The blades are sharp and it powered through some surprisingly chunky branches without any struggling, which was a pleasant surprise. The cord is also a decent length, giving me a good amount of reach without constantly needing to find a closer socket.
The only minor thing I noticed is that after about 20-30 minutes of continuous use, I could start to smell the motor working a bit. It wasn’t an alarming smell, but it was noticeable. I gave it a short break and it seemed fine afterwards.
Overall, for the price, this is a fantastic hedge cutter. It’s light, powerful, and gets the job done efficiently. Just be mindful of the motor if you’re tackling a really large or overgrown area in one go.
