First the magnetic ring is really strong and works great. It work to great when I try to take my iPad it would not unlock and ended up with a damage wall Overhaul will not recommend purely base on the damage this will cause

I’m really impressed with this product. It looks and feels well made, the magnets are strong and hold really well. I tried to save some money with a cheaper option but that ended in disaster. I wish I had got this in the first place, as in hindsight, it is really good value for money. Mine is mounted to a kitchen cupboard so don’t know how it would fair on a wall but the adhesive is really strong too. I followed the ‘rest for 12 hours’ instruction just in case as I didn’t want to risk my expensive iPad falling and breaking but so far so good so I would recommend doing that.

Buying from Amazon does feel like rolling the dice to see if you get Chinese junk or not. This one is a winner. I wanted to turn a spare tablet into a wall mounted smart home dashboard but I needed something that would keep it flush to a wall and would allow me to easily take it off. The magnets are strong, the adhesive was excellent and it has been up on the wall for a couple of weeks.

Elegant piece of design and incredibly effective. Strength of magnet gives confidence that device will stay in place. Surprised at some poor reviews by some. Clearly need to make sure wall surface is sound and can take being pull at when you remove the device as the magnet is very strong. DON’T stick on wall paper or any sort of painted surface that’s just plasterboard. Need to stick something smooth to the wall first to stick the magnet to. Only observation I would make is, it would great to be able to buy the wall mounting as an extra, so that the device can be used in different locations. I’ve had to buy two of these in order to use it in a bathroom and a shower room. I’m now buying another to fit one in a bedroom so the device can be used in the bedroom. I’ll then have two mounting rings spare!

I wanted to put a small device in the kitchen to listen to Spotify or watch a video while I was cooking. I do not have a television. I looked at an Echo screen device – then decided all I really needed was to put a tablet I already had, but didn’t use much, on the wall. But I didn’t want to start drilling holes – and I didn’t want anything tacky looking in my new kitchen. So I sent for this – over-priced (hence a star off) – but easy to put up, blends in with the grey walls, very unobtrusive when I take the tablet down, and leaves no holes. Good quality leather and strong magnet. No complaints – except under 20 quid would be more like it!

Followed the instructions (including leaving it for 24 hours after installing it) when installing this on the inside of my kitchen cabinet door. Worked great until the magnet attached to the door detached. Used on my ~11” ipad. Slick design but not useful if the glue doesn’t hold.
