    Bought to replace a slightly smaller, less powerful blender by another big brand as we struggled to blend frozen fruits and ice cubes with our previous unit – this one does it for fun. It has four suction feet that help it stay put on smooth kitchen counters/ surfaces and the parts are as easy to clean as any that I’ve had. No regret on this purchase

    Well built, enough power to crush anything, hard plastic big jar. Best are the blades and Pro blending technology. Cons: It should have a switch to operate the machine, the rotate and click option is sudden and may not last long. Operating directly from power switch may also be not a good idea.

    good blender, so far no issues with blending (hummus, oats into flour, sauces & smoothie), including ice. Is a bit louder compare to my second hand Ninja blender (which died after 7 years) but this one is more powerful.

    easy to wash, handy to unscrew the bottom part for a good clean

    glass jar is heavy, but it is solid glass jar

    keen to get HR3034 stainless steel jar for smaller blending job – so far no luck

    A good size and powerful. Mostly used for blending frozen fruit/smoothies. Blends things like chia seeds/flaxseeds in a smoothie well. Easy to clean and seems robust. Handy grippy base so it doesn’t need to be held while in use. Would definitely recommend.

    This was bought to replace a brilliant ‘old faithful’ kitchen blender that had lasted so long its dial had worn off. We initially had replaced it with a machine which had a plastic jug, which quickly became dull. Also, the interim blender’s engine just wasn’t that strong and it couldn’t cope very well with anything that wasn’t already quite soft. By comparison, this Philips model has a really strong motor and blends even hard foods completely, and you can put hot liquids into it, which is useful if you are making soups. It’s black and silver design is also subtle which means it blends into the kitchen while still looking smart. The one thing I would say is that the glass jug is quite heavy compared to plastic ones, so if you have very weak wrists it might not work for you. Overall we are very pleased with this product.

    Dreadful, I’ve binned it. Every time we try to use it, when we remove the jug the blades stay out and the contents of the jug go everywhere! If I could give it 0 stars I would. Worst purchase I’ve ever made.
