The machine arrived in perfect condition, no damage from handling at all. However, I was extremely dismayed when I realised that it was not wired for the UK market and later discovered that the plug was of the type used in Australia/China. I had never seen one before, so I contacted the retailer via Amazon to complain/request a refund. They got back to me fairly promptly and offered a 10% reduction. In the meantime I had been searching for an adapter for this type of plug. I ordered the adapter, so I accepted the 10% refund which covered the cost of the adapter. Happily, it worked and so far the machine is going well – I have only used it three times, though. The spinner is great, really gets the water out of the clothes. So far, so good.
