Incredibly impressed with this blender. I was expecting it to be slightly smaller, but I’m glad it’s the size it is. Holds 2.2L (just over the advertised 2L). Very powerful motor. Makes smoothies in less than 60 seconds. It seems to have sensors that check how smooth the mix is, as it’ll adjust time on the fly. Really cool gadget, especially if you like making your own bits at home. A range of functions for your needs. Feels very durable, and has lasted 2 months so far without any signs of wear. Great value. Recommended!

The PowerXL blender is a bit of a compact powerhouse that will find its place on any counter top. I like the functions available on this blender: crush, smoothie, chop and pulse. All of which can be customized by manually controlling the speed slider. The appliance base can host two different attachments: a generous 2 litre blending jar and a personal blending jar, both with lids. I find the touchscreen controls very easy to use. The blender has Smart sensing functions that can detect the contents and adjust the output for best results. The Power XL is supplied with a recipe booklet, instructions and a quick start guide. Although it’s straight forward to use. It’s not a silent blender but that doesn’t bother me at all. My only complaint would be the length of the power cable. I feel it’s a bit short. I’m guessing this product is designed for a counter top as it’s the only place where such a short cable would work. Speaking about the cable, it can be stored under the unit itself which is handy.

Overall I’m very happy with the blender. It’s a nice compact appliance that can be used for cocktails, sauces, frozen gelato, cake batter and more. Love it. Highly recommended.

Power XL SensiMax 2L Food Blender

This Food Blender arrives in a very large manufacturers box. It comes with a quick start guide, a user and care manual and a leaflet full of recipes.
Everything inside is very well wrapped, I was impressed with the capacity of the large jug, and it was very easy to get going.

I was excited to try making my own banana ice cream, and after a quick read of the simple instructions, I had a pot made within a few minutes.
Simply pour a can of condensed milk into the jug, add 3 chopped frozen bananas and blitz using the ‘crush’ setting. It starts pulsing for 25 seconds, but I had to restart the machine half way through because the bananas weren’t quite cut up small enough, so the machine stopped with an overheating ‘H’ warning. It finally blitzed it all for a few more seconds until it was smooth, then I added chocolate chip pieces and poured the mixture into an ice cream tub. For me, although the jug has a large capacity, it is quite bulky and awkward to lift, especially when also trying to scrape the mixture out with a spatula.
But, I’ve got to say, later that evening (I checked ten hours later), we had extremely nice soft scoop chocolate chip banana ice cream (although a little too sweet), but that will always be the case when using condensed milk.
I am so excited to go through the book for more recipes, and especially looking forward to making my own homemade hummus with this easy to use machine. I just need to find space in the kitchen to store it now.

At the time of writing this review the Food Blender cost £89.99. I am more than happy to recommend this product.

The PowerXL SensiMax 2L Blender has quickly become my go-to appliance in the kitchen. I’ve used blenders from some of the big-name brands, and honestly, this one holds its own — if not outperforms them in a few key areas.

First off, the build quality is exceptional. It feels solid, durable, and definitely like it’s built to last. With a powerful 1500W motor, it’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it — from chunky soup ingredients to frozen fruit for slushies and thick milkshakes — with ease and speed.

The smart sensing functions make it really user-friendly, and I actually enjoy using it. It takes the guesswork out of blending and makes things like soups and smoothies more fun and effortless to prepare.

The price point is another big win — it’s very competitive, and honestly, I feel like it could easily be priced higher given the quality and performance. If you’re on the fence between this and a more expensive “name” brand, I’d say go for the PowerXL — it won’t disappoint.

    Definitely recommend this blender!
