This toaster arrived in a branded cardboard box and was well packaged for transit. The toaster measures 20cm in height x 17.5cm in depth and 28cm in width so is reasonably compact and the toaster is made from stainless steel with black ribbed detailing and should suit most kitchens. The toaster is available in black and white (I chose the black version) and it draws 930W of power.
The toaster has the capacity for two slices of bread which auto centre as you push the lever down. The toaster also features 7 browning settings which are adjustable through a twist dial, a defrost button (if the bread being toasted is out of the freezer), a reheat button (in case you’ve forgotten about it) and a cancel button if you need the toaster to stop mid cycle. It also has a crumb tray to remove debris from the bottom of the toaster.
The toaster is great for toast, crumpets and hot cross buns and it is very easy to adjust to your desired level of toasting. It evenly toasts both sides well and has a reasonable length power cord which I feel would suit most kitchen worktops with cord storage underneath. Priced at £25.99 at the time of reviewing, I would say that this is reasonable value for money and I am hopeful it will last.

This toaster looks lovely and modern. The black design suits most kitchen styles and set-ups.
It functions really well, with multiple levels of browning, without taking too long to cook.
Fits regular slices of bread fully without the need for flipping and multiple cooks.
Good value for money. Only thing that would make it better would be if it was a 4 slice toaster.

After a couple of weeks of daily use, this toaster has proven to be a reliable addition to the kitchen. The seven browning levels are accurate, and I’ve found level 4 to be the sweet spot for golden brown toast.
The defrost function works well, allowing me to toast frozen bread evenly without any burnt edges. The reheat feature is also handy, quickly warming up toast without making it too crispy. The crumb tray is easy to remove and clean, keeping the countertop tidy. The only minor downside is that the sides of the toaster get a bit warm after multiple uses, but overall, it performs excellently for the price.
The modern grooved design looks stylish in my kitchen, and the compact size makes it easy to store.

I always enjoy a slice of toast in the mornings with butter, some eggs and a cup of tea, yet I’ve always preferred toasting the bread on the frying pan, as it gives more of an equal heat leaving you with golden brown, tasty slices of toast. But, I decided to give this toaster by Quest a try and see if it gave the same results.
The toaster itself looks good, and has a modern clean design with a grooved texture. The controls are especially easy to use. You have the ‘reheat’ button which, as the name suggests, allows you to quickly heat up a slice of toast that may have gotten cold. The ‘defrost button’ allows you to defrost a slice of bread directly from the freezer, though I’m not personally sure how many would use this function. The ‘stop’ button lets you stop toasting at any time. Finally, the round dial allows you to select the level of toasting you require from 1 to 7.
It does work well and the settings allow you to heat toast to your preferred level of browning. The built-in crumb tray is convenient and saves time cleaning the toaster and with 930W it’s fairly powerful. Overall, this is a decent toaster, it’s easy to use, works well and is available at a good price point.

Not much one can say here, you put bread in and it comes out nicely browned,, a big step up from what I have been used to for the past couple of years since my last toaster bit the dust (Clue, you can kind of toast bread in an air fryer)
It may not stand out but it does what I want it to and the smell of burning toast alone would be enough for me to love it 😆🙄
How I Rate
– ***** Don’t think, just buy it!

Whilst I do sometimes include photos and videos in my reviews, due to time constraints this will only be when I feel that doing so would serve a purpose in demonstrating how an aspect of the product works or fails.
I only order Items that I or my family have a genuine use for and as such you can be sure that they are tested in real world warts and all situations.
Whilst I did receive this item for free through the Amazon Vine program this has in no way influenced my review.

A toaster has a prime function-to toast bread evenly on both sides. It doesn’t matter how good a toaster is or how many additional functions it has if it doesn’t perform its prime function properly then you need to look elsewhere.
Unfortunately this Quest device doesn’t fully accept a standard slice of bread in its slots. I used a slice of Warburton’s Toasty 800 gm loaf, which is probably the UK’s most popular and is a standard size. The top inch and a half stuck out the top of the toaster when fully inserted. (See photo). To get a fully toasted slice of toast the bread will need turning round. Which is not only time consuming but also almost impossible to get an evenly toasted slice.
I can’t see the point of a defrost button. I’ve been making toast for years in a toaster without that function and it’s always come out fine.
The toaster itself is looks good and is well made. Would I buy it though? No. What’s the point of a toaster that won’t fully accept a slice of standard sized bread?

Need a simple toaster that does the work and doesn’t have a lot of fancy stuff in it? This is a good one! It doesn’t advertise itself as super fancy and you get what you see. The crumb tray works nicely too, saying that as a person who had a toaster with a tray that was hard to take out.
Price fits this product well and overall this humble wee thing is exactly what you’re buying; a good trusty toaster.
