First thing I noticed was how flimsy and cheap it feels. The colour change, blue to red when it’s boiled is a nice touch but when you can’t get the lid up to put water in it’s redundant. You end up resorting to filling via the pourer. It also found that if you dare to try and fill a cup to fast, it leaks around the lid. Not nice, boiling water all over. Cheap,colourful. Not worth the hassle.

We paid a bit more than we normally would for a kettle, but, just thought that we’d have it for a considerable time. Unfortunately, within a couple of weeks of purchase the lid didn’t work as expected. It was hard to open as the button lid wasn’t working as well as it should and so my husband just started filling via the tap directly in to the spout. Then, mid May, it started to dribble the BOILING water out from the spout and down from the base onto whatever surface is beneath it. Luckily for me it was onto my work top and not my legs or feet! And today, Thursday 1st July after purchasing 13th March, I was pouring and, as I was lifting it right up to get dregs out from the bottom, it was then that the entire lid assembly completely FELL OFF !!! Do not, I repeat, DO NOT purchase this product as someone will get seriously burned by it I’m certain !!! CW

The kettle is great when using blue when cold turns red when boiling Sadly the kettle is poorly made The refill lid doesnt open and i have to use a sharp knife to prise it open when using Id have sent it back but i thought oh its a bit stiff when i first used it and hoped it loosened

Kettle works fine although does seem to take a little longer to boil than my previous kettle. Also the push button on the lid to open it has stopped working after only 3 weeks.
