Good value decent looking kettle. Unless you’re a mean sod and making sneaky brews just for yourself I don’t understand the obession over a kettle being quiet but that’s me, this one makes a noise when boiling, it’s not a huge noise but maybe not suitable for you brew making ninjas

The kettle arrived very quickly, the next morning. I’m delighted with it. When activate to boil it lights up the kettle with a pleasing blue led light. I cannot say how quickly it boils compared to other kettles but it boils fairly quickly. I cannot fault it. Very good value for money.

This is the first glass kettle we’ve had – and what a revelation. Up to now we’ve always tended to “err on the safe side” when filling our kettles with water so we invariably ended up boiling too much, meaning we’d wasted energy with every single boiling. But no longer – the glass jug allows you to judge the amount in the kettle far more accurately and thus saves boiling too much, hence minimising wasted energy. I hadn’t foreseen this benefit when I ordered the kettle and, with the high cost of energy these days, I have to say I’m really pleased about it.
That aside, this being a 3kW kettle it is pretty quick to boil. It is fairly light when empty and, because of the shape, it isn’t too difficult to handle even when full (we’ve found that some other jug kettles need a fair amount of wrist strength). It has a soft seal around the rim that prevents water from spilling when pouring, and a stainless steel mesh in the spout to help prevent bits of calcium deposit from ruining your cup of coffee – although the fine holes in the mesh do restrict flow a little so it isn’t the fastest pouring kettle.
All things considered, so far this has been a great purchase.

We’ve had so many kettles in the past and probably should have paid more. This kettle so far seems fine, the only problem being it’s very noisy.

I’ve had this kettle about 6 months now. It arrived well package and on time. The kettle seems well made. It works well, boils quite quickly and I am very happy with it. It is a little noisy but that is just the water boiling so can’t complain. The only negative i have found it that there is no seal on lid which means when the kettle is full if you are not careful when you tip it up to pour, the water can come out of the lid as well as the spout. This makes a mess and you have boiling water pouring all over the place. Other than that I’m very pleased with the kettle.

Replaced a more expensive one from a big brand that broke after a couple of years. This one was half the price and seems much better made! The lip makes it pour very smoothly, the shape of the kettle is pleasant, and the water looks very pretty as it starts to boil. I like that the filter is metal (this wasn’t obvious from the packaging) so there’s minimal plastic in contact with the water. It feels like it will be durable although I haven’t had it very long.
