    Very light weight
Struggled to get the back down at first
    Doesn’t lie completely flat.
    Great pushchair for the price

I’ll start off by saying I’ve been testing this pram out with my 4 1/2 yo little boy that’s 17kg and 103cm in height.

I really like this pram, it has many great features and it’s fantastic value for money at £99. I’ll list my favourites below:

1: The hood is very large and can be easily extended to different settings. Great for covering from the sun.

2: The shopping basket is nice and big. I’ve managed to fit school bags, water bottles and coats all at once.

3: It’s easy and lightweight to fold. I really appreciate quickly folding this down with one hand and easily lifting it into the car.

The only big negative I can see is you have to take the whole bumper bar off using two hands to squeeze the buttons on each side and then put the child in. Or only do one side of the bumper bar but it doesn’t stay up and falls back down making it very awkward. This isn’t so bad with my toddler but I can imagine with a smaller child this would be frustrating.

Overall, I’ve used expensive travel system prams and can happily say for quality and experience this pram isn’t far off and at a fraction of the price. So, if you are looking for a backup pram or to save some money, I would recommend giving this pram a try.

Gorgeous, multifunctional pram for up to 22kg, with generous hood that looks military. Only 2 cons are the front wheels are very unstable (even when brake is on, and on a slope/moving commute), they swerve out of place quickly, as it was made without wheel locks. And the entire harness fit up to a 2 & half year old in the seat. It doesn’t fit my 3 year olds upper body length from the 2 straps the the leg pad area (very snug fit at maximum adjusted harness), so definetly not suitable for taller tots. Everything else is perfection

This is a really good pram from Redkite. I got the olive green version and think it looks great, with the darker colour hopefully being more stain resistant.

I did have a small panic when I unboxed it as on first inspection there were no instructions on how to put it all together. It was hidden in the main bit of the chair so don’t worry if you have a similar scare. Speaking of the instructions, they are… OK. I didn’t find them the clearest but they are good enough to get things together and get going.

Wheels, the brake mechanism, the hood and the bar all need slotting into the frame but once built, this is a practical street stroller. There is a nice storage shelf underneath and I found the foot brake easy to put on and off. The folding mechanism is located on the handlebar and once pulled, the pram quickly folds down flat(ish).

The main seat is on the firmer side, but the harness is very secure and the seat can be lowered into a flat position if your little one needs a nap. The hood is suitably large and provides a great amount of shade, plus there is also a raincover included, should that be required.

The wheels have some very, very small “give”, to help attempt to soak up bumps and uneven ground but they are still pretty hard. Cobblestones will still be felt. This isn’t a pneumatic tyre cruiser.

However, I really think it represents good value for the quality and flexibility at this price point.

Right from the very outset, this pram from Redkite is absolutely fantastic, I have been really impressed by the quality of the build, the ease of use and functionality.

The pram is suitable from newborn right up to 22kg or typically around 6-7 years of age.

Included with the pram is a bottle/cup holder an extendable canopy and rain cover.

I really like that you are able to change the seated position from sitting up to lying down, which gives lots of flexibility when you are out and about. It is really easy to adjust the position by releasing the clamp on the back of the seat and either letting out or pulling in the cord/strap to move the back piece up and down.

There is a really great basket at the base of the pram that gives you lots of storage for accessories, toys, nappy back and shopping.

One of the greatest features of this pram is its really chunky and robust wheels, the rear ones are nice and large, whilst the front ones are a little smaller. This gives you great manoeuvrability, as it is so easy to push and steer and the best thing of all, it is effortless to push over rougher terrain, like a farm, park or field.

The pram is really easy to fold and open, using the one handed quick release mechanism. There is a safety catch that you slide across and you then squeeze a trigger/button on the handlebars and then it folds down really quickly and easily. When it is folded down, it folds down really flat, which makes it a dream to store in a cupboard when not in use and also it means that it doesn’t take up too much space in your car’s boot.

The hood/canopy is really good and pulls down right over the front of the pram, keeping out the sun and wind, and also reduces light exposure, making it easy to get your child off to sleep during the daytime. What I also really like with the canopy is that there is a flap section on the top of the hood which you can open to peak inside the pram to check on your child, rather than having to bend underneath the canopy or moving it upwards. The handy rain cover is a great bonus for those times when you are out and get caught in the rain. It does a great job of covering the whole of the main frame of the pram to make sure that you child remains nice and dry at all times.

There is also an adjustable leg rest which is really good for positioning differently as your child grows.

I honestly cannot think of any negative points to highlight with this pram, it has so much to offer in many different ways and I couldn’t be happier with its lightweight design, function and overall performance.

Lastlly, at £99.99, this is phenomenal value for money and the quality that is on show here is that of something that could be two or three times the value. I think it is an absolute bargain and a wonderful investment.

I would unreservedly recommend this product to others with young children, it is a really fantastic bit of kit.
