Love this stand. Would highly recommend it. The gooseneck is very sturdy so may be difficult to shape if elderly or have lack of strength in hands.

Strong clamp, very firm but bendable arm. Perfect for my workstation. Only slight gripe is that the rubber on the gripper part has come unstuck after a couple of months. Nothing that a little bit of glue won’t fix though. I definitely recommend this item

Started off ok, although not as strong or as long as I had hoped for. Struggled to grip iPad whilst it had flip cover on it but could be made to work. Sadly after 6 weeks usage, the arm sheared off at the point near the base – see photo. Probably due to moving the arm out of the way each night, weakening the arm. Not made of strong materials so my verdict is that if you keep it in one place and don’t move it, it is probably ok.

I have quite a thick oak desk and this was wide enough to wrap around it, which most clamps aren’t. It is also very tough to move the arm – but this is a positive for me. I have it holding one thing in a fixed position above my computer monitors, and I don’t want it moving, so this is ideal.

It’s not very sturdy when using a heavier device like an iPad – it barely supports the weight and wobbles when you touch the screen, making navigation difficult. The gooseneck itself is quite stiff, so adjusting it is a hassle. Once it’s set up in a comfortable position, it’s best to leave it there rather than readjusting each time. Although it’s affordable, the overall build feels flimsy. It works in a pinch, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you need something reliably sturdy.
