Nice appearance but does not toast that well unless you turn up to max setting.

As toasters go, this one is okay. Style-wise, it’s well funky and the blue lights are cool. However, for doing the job it was bought for, it’s not wonderful. We checked the dimensions of this model against our old toaster before purchasing and found them to be the same size. Unfortunately the toasting slots are not – these are smaller and about a third of the bread slice sticks up above the slot. Our previous model had less exposed bread during cooking.
The item also boasts speedier toasting – well, not really. It pops quicker than our previous model when on the same cooking level but then needs to go back down for a second round. We’ve upped the cooking level to a higher number than we’ve used before and this now produces cooked items on the first pop but within the same time limit as the old model. So not really speedy at all!
Finally, the toaster itself is rather light and flimsy feeling. If you push both buttons down at the same time, it has a tendency to tilt forward which could be an issue for some users.

Perfect, and brilliant as you can set how dark you want the toast on both settings

Bought this to replace a Russell Hobbs one and this is so much better. The slots aren’t particularly deep, so putting in a size vertically leaves the top untoasted. I always put the bread in on its side and it browns it so evenly.
It is also so quick. There is barely enough time to boil a kettle it is so quick.
The max setting is actually too much, whereas on most toasters max seems to be what’s needed to get a decent browning.
So a basic enough toaster in that it doesn’t have loads of additional features, but what it does do, it does do extremely well.
Worth every penny, and potentially should be more expensive for how well it works.
One of the best kitchen appliances I’ve ever bought

After a couple of years still working well.

Purchased this in 2017 for £35. Still going strong. Better quality than what you see in hotels.
