Had NO instructions at all and tipped forward when lowering bread…..dangerous! It still had a strong electrical smell, even after being primed 4 times, and produced a lot of smoke!! “ toasted “ the bread 3 times at level6, but it was still pale. This is the FOURTH toaster that I’ve returned to Amazon….hoping my next one will actually work!

Had toaster a couple of months now, purchased to complement emma bridgewater kettle by Russell Hobbs. Timer function is brilliant, as is the ability to lift the toast without popping the toaster. The bread does brown unevenly sometimes and doesn’t always give the same level of “toast” despite not changing setting. The adjustment of the toast level is on the side (1-6 slider), I always knock it when cleaning work surfaces. A very minor issue day to day, but I do wonder about the durability of the slider and if it’ll break.

I loved the size, material and colour. I loved the fact that it compliments and matches kettle to a ‘tea’! 🥰 Disliked the unnecessary sticker on the front that I am now going to have to remove! 😡 Have not used yet as it only has arrived and will comment on that later. Having now used the toaster I have to change my star rating to FIVE the timer is absolutely ingenious! It works in alignment with the setting and once you know the desired time and setting you require you can leave it! It makes perfectly crispy toast – ecstatic! 🥰👏
