Behaves exactly the same as the lemon version that I use every single day and my experience is recorded there. I am not used to reviewing more than one colour on the same product code at Amazon!
Sturdily boxed with no plastic-type, inner packaging, it comes with a 2-year (limited) guarantee (+1 extra year, on online registration).
“Amazing value at the discounted price” said the special person I gifted this pink one to, matching the kettle from the same brand.
Now we just need a powder blue shade in the line up of colours available!

Bought this toaster in Dec 2024. Also bought the kettle …had it less than 6 months looked after it and regularly cleaned it .. watch out if it stops working though as the 12 month warranty is not straight forward.. they will want to know what bread you used what date you cleaned it out a pic of the inside your shoe size etc etc etc … I may not have a week to sit and provide everything they’ve asked for so it may be aswell to just go buy a cheap one that will last 12 months !! Just beware of all this when you buy ..

I need an emergency toaster as my old one kicked the bucket randomly one evening and the thought of not having toast for breakfast the next day was a bit much for my carb-loving self! At the time of purchase, it was only £20, so quite the bargain, especially when I got it by 9 am. It’s been a few months and still going strong, but It does seem quite flimsy, made of only cheap plastic. I have to say though, it does toast beautifully with 6 different toasting levels. You may want to go for something a bit more substantial for longer term. It is perfect for your average-sized bread, but can’t hold much more than that. The pink colour is exactly how it’s shown on the site, which is a cute bonus. Overall, pretty good for a basic emergency purchase

So here’s the deal—being gluten-free isn’t just about swapping out bread, it’s about dealing with the fact that gluten-free bread behaves like some weird science experiment gone wrong. It’s smaller, crumblier, and has this annoying habit of either refusing to toast or instantly turning into charcoal. After far too many mornings scraping blackened crumbs off my old toaster, I figured it was time for an upgrade. Enter the Russell Hobbs Eden 2 Slice Toaster.
First off, it looks great. I mean, who doesn’t love a raspberry-colored toaster? It adds a nice pop of color to my kitchen, which is mostly full of boring white appliances. But more importantly, it actually works with gluten-free bread. The high-lift feature is a game-changer because gluten-free slices are usually tiny, and in my old toaster, I’d have to perform some delicate finger acrobatics to get them out without burning myself. With this one? Just pop the lever up and grab your toast—no singed fingertips required.
The browning settings are also surprisingly accurate. With gluten-free bread, you kind of have to find the sweet spot—too light and it’s still weirdly gummy, too dark and it’s rock-hard. After some trial and error, I found setting 4 works perfectly for my brand of bread, getting that golden, crisp edge while still keeping the inside soft enough to spread butter without ripping the slice apart.
And let’s talk about the frozen bread function because I pretty much live off frozen gluten-free loaves (seriously, why is fresh GF bread always twice the price?). This thing actually defrosts and toasts evenly, which is a miracle in itself. I used to have to defrost my bread separately before toasting, which was just another morning hassle I didn’t need. Now, I throw a frozen slice in, press the button, and boom—perfect toast.
I also appreciate the removable crumb tray because gluten-free crumbs seem to multiply like rabbits. My old toaster had a crumb collection that was basically a fire hazard, but this one’s easy to slide out and clean.
Overall, I wasn’t expecting much—I just wanted something that wouldn’t turn my gluten-free toast into a breakfast crime scene. But this toaster has actually made mornings easier, and for that, I’m officially a fan. If you’re gluten-free and tired of battling tiny, unpredictable slices, this one is 100% worth it.

Absolutely love this Russell Hobbs Eden 2 Slice Toaster! The pink color is such a lovely touch – it adds a pop of charm to the kitchen without being too loud. It’s been super reliable and has worked exactly as intended since day one. Toasts evenly, heats up quickly, and the controls are simple and easy to use.

She does the job, she looks cute and she toasts to my preferences. Can fit two slices of bread or 4 pittas if you’re feeling wild. Smelled a bit like plastic the first few uses… has stopped now or maybe I’m immune.
Great price, no proper complaints. If I didn’t already have another pink kettle I would have got the matching kettle
