I am about to send this product back. I used Au Amazon to buy the toaster and the kettle. Both came with European power outlets. Really? Why not tell in the description it has an EU power outlet?

Been waiting for this particular toaster to be on an offer as have the matching kettle. I was pleased to get it at last and it looks very smart in my kitchen. However, it’s very temperamental as to whether my bread stays down for toasting. I would return it but after a few tries it usually performs. Like most things, you get what you pay for 😞

I mean the product looks okayish but in the first look, I was hoping for a lid. Maybe that’s how it’s designed, with no lid. But after using just a couple times, the three buttons went inside and won’t come out. So everytime you put a bread, you need to insert your finger deeper into the metal to access the buttons, which looks dangerous and also very bad experience.
There are much simpler ones to do the job.

As many have said (I should have read the reviews). I purchased the toaster from Amazon AU expecting AUS/NZ plugs, along with the supposedly matching kettle. Both had UK plugs (which can be changed by an electrician without too much fuss). But the most disappointing thing was that the toaster and kettle don’t even match! The toaster is an off-white (not a bright white as in the images) and does not match the kettle at all. Go figure! Very annoying.

Be very careful when handling the toaster. The steel surround of the slot where you insert the bread has VERY SHARP EDGES if you put your fingers too deep inside!!!!!
