Reading the reviews on this toaster, I was hoping for nicely done toast, even on both sides. Unfortunately this is not the case. Bread (of any type) comes out very well done on one side and pale on the other. OK if you like your toast 2 tone!

The toaster looks smart, standard slot sizes (travelled well – I took it overseas in my luggage) and works fine on the first toast, but will then burn on the second toast, even if you turn down the settings. However it was not expensive so you get what you pay for.

It looks really nice . The slots look small length wise but a slice of pan loaf fits in well, unlike my previous toaster. The wider slots are great for burger buns and thicker breads. There are several setting and 6 degrees of browsing. No 3 made a perfect slice of toast well cooked on both sides. You can lift up the toast to check it during the toasting using the leaver which is really handy .

Bought as it is a best buy on Which and reduced significantly to £25. Brilliant at toasting but having downsized from a 2 slot 4 slices it doesn’t take the slices we usually have so we cut them in two. Time it takes to do the toasting? Very quick so I haven’t a problem with cutting the bread in half.
