This is possibly the best kettle I have ever had. It has a large opening lid making filling easier, the lid opening button is on top of the handle for safe use, the spout pours like a dream, the body of the kettle is stylish and easy to clean, it has a quite but quick boil and you can see how much water is inside by the clear measure on the side. The handle is large and is easy to grasp. I would thoroughly recommend this kettle due to its excellent design and fit for purpose. A*

The motorhome –
As a kettle it looks great and boils very quickly. But it’s not quieter than other kettles (as advertised) at all. It’s actually louder than my old cheap one. But as a kettle that just works it is a good buy.

This is a kettle over which you can continue your conversation while making your next cuppa. It is wonderfully quiet yet remarkably fast to boil, and gives great control of temperature, water volume, and pour. Highly recommended. Will look for Russell Hobbs if I ever need another one.

I bought the kettle on 31/10/2024 as I’d previously had a Russell Hobbs Quiet Boil kettle and had been satisfied with it. The one however started leaking from the base three months after its purchase. I contacted Russell Hobbs to request a refund providing them with a description of the fault and photos on the inside and outside of the kettle as required. I have now received the following message from Russell Hobbs: “Laura D (Russell Hobbs) 12 Feb 2025, 10:28 GMT
Dear Lewis, Thank you for your email and for all the information provided thus far regarding your kettle. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by this matter. Please note that a refund can only be issued at the place of purchase and, since your kettle was purchase from a different seller, we are unable to assist you further with one. However, we will try our best to help you in this situation. In order for us to complete our investigation, could you please provide us with the following:
Home Address and Post Code; A short video of the fault, if possible and safe. Please note that the maximum size allowed for files is 25 MB. If you are unable to attach the video to this email, could you please send it using https://wetransfer.com/. You will need to first click on the 3 dots next to or above the transfer button and use the “Create Link” option. You just need to upload the video after that and copy and paste the wetransfer link in your email reply. We will not receive any files sent with the email option. Or, please try to reduce the size of the video.

I did not send the requested video as water and electricity are not a good mix, and one that I do not want to risk.
When I tried to return the item to Amazon I received a message saying that the window for the reurn of this item had closed. So despite Russell Hobbs trumpeting the quality of their product it seems that they are not willing to stand by it.

Very impressed with this kettle. Our Bosch one gave up at a slightly pathetic three years old so looked for another brand. This kettle is really solid, in a nice metal finish. It’s a nice shape and boils very quickly and quietly. Can’t ask for more really! Good value at this price too.
