Exactly what I needed. It does what I need perfectly well and is neat and tidy on the kitchen worktop. Gloss and Matt black looks lovely. It is lightweight but toasts well and is fairly quick on setting number 3.

Schlau, wie ich bin hab ich mir die über 20,- € günstigere Variante gekauft… klingt nach Schnäppchen, Design ist klasse, breite Schlitze, zwar ein bisschen viel Plastik, trostdem gekauft. Schnell geliefert, ausgepackt und siehe da… eine amerikanische Version, natürlich mit dem amerikanischen 3er Stecker, der nur selten in deutsche Steckdosen passt. Was solls, gleich einen formschönen Adapter für 8,99 € nachbestellt und nun wird 24/7 getoastet. Da nicht alle so mega schlau sind, bitte Produktinfo genau lesen. Es sei denn, man möchte es Tante Mary in Massachusetts schicken.

ordered a russel hop toaster from amazon australia(as i thought) the toaster arrived with a UK plug on it i then had to go and buy an adapter ended up a dear toaster?

Bigger than expected (the sizes shown for the product are not real, the toaster comes bigger). But so far a good product otherwise, makes nice toasts and you can regulate the time. Lovely colour.

Hinweis auf englische Stecker Erblindung nicht ersichtlich. Extra Adapter bestellt. Trotzdem kein fester Kontakt mit deutschen Steckdosen zu erzielen. Nicht zu gebrauchen

Toaster is easy to use, does have extra wide slots but could do with being quite a bit longer, my husband got his toastie stuck in it because it wrapped itself around the prongs at the side. Standard bread slices fit in but if you have farmhouse slices etc. which are slightly longer they do not. For this reason I have given it 3 stars. It is easy to clean and does what it says and was a good price. Don’t know about keeping it clean outside as it is part matt and part shiny which might show the finger prints. Update one month later: As feared the matt sides show all the greasy finger prints and the slots are nowhere long enough to do anything other than standard slices of bread, useless for toasties which was one of the reasons I wanted the extra wide slots but are just not long enough!

Toaster labelled “Black & Decker” not “Russell Hobbs” although box and instructions show Russell Hobbs. Also, it was not clear that it came with a UK plug and needs and adaptor ( I ordered in Australia) – this should be noted in description.

At this price how can I give it less than 5. Cheaply made exterior but it makes toast! My old one broke and I needed a toaster at value price. This did the trick. Happy.
