The whole point about sticking with one brand of battery tools is you can have lots of tools and a couple of batteries. Bought this and just give to try and use it only to find the battery is different. And the cost of the colorectal battery is huge. It will be returned.

Had to replace the previous version of this – it was tired out after several years of service! Happy to say that the slightly revised model is even better – longer blade & balance is good.
Battery life is sufficient for me, but a younger & fitter user MAY find they could have kept going longer than the trimmer!

Brilliant cutter. Sharp and light. The 5am battery i use on this tool lasts for ages! I have around 2 miles of hedging in my 3 acre garden and it’s brilliant. I have 3 different Ryobi hedge cutters this one and the long reach and mid reach. I hurt my shoulder with a rotary cuff injury so couldn’t swing my Stihl petrol hedge trimmer around anymore. These Ryobi tools are excellent. Light and manageable when you’re cutting hedges for 4-5 hours in a day.

Die 36 V Heckenschere hat mir schon viel Arbeit, und durchschnittene Leitunge erspart. Die Leistung entspricht einer normalen Heckenschechere.

Good strong machine. The supplied batteries only have a workig life of 2 hours before needing 2 hours of charging.
Unfortunately the better batteries are expensive.
