   First let me say that I bought the Ryobi battery mower with two aftermarket batteries. It was useless and kept grinding to a halt every few minutes on grass no more the 50mm long. The aftermarket batteries barely lasted 5 minute so it all went back the next day. This 1600 Watt power mower is like night and day compared to the Battery one. The motor is very powerful, cuts the grass easily, it is well made and the height adjustment is a doddle to use. It is a bit of a faf putting the grass box on and off. I did find if you don’t grip the handles quite firmly the motor cuts out but it is just a safety cut out that perhaps comes on a bit to early. It is also very easy to clean and does not throw grass out from the side like the Flymo did.
   With having four wheels it is much easier to push along than my old Flymo 360 and that was my main reason for buying this machine. I suppose my only gripe is that the cable is too short and a lot shorter than my Flymo so I always need an extension lead attached. All in al I am a very happy customer.

   The product was delivered promptly and in perfect condition. Assembly and initial testing were straightforward—even without referring to the instruction manual. The 1600W, 240V motor offers reliable power, and the lawnmower feels solid thanks to its sturdy casing. Features like adjustable cutting heights, customizable handle length, a safety power switch, grass container fill indicators, and a metal rotary cutting blade enclosed in a protective casing all contribute to an excellent user experience. Overall, this mower offers outstanding value for money.

   Performance
   I’ve been using the Ryobi lawnmower for a while now, and overall, I’m quite pleased with its performance. It delivers a great cut, operates well, and makes lawn maintenance a breeze.

   Weight & Usability
   The mower is lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it simple to use even for extended periods.

   Folding Mechanism
   One major drawback is the folding mechanism—it simply does not work as advertised, making storage more difficult than expected. If you’re looking for a mower that folds easily for compact storage, be aware of this before purchasing.

   Assembly Instructions
   The assembly instructions are frustratingly unclear. If you’re not confident in assembling equipment, this might not be the best choice.

   Grass Collection
   The grass collector does its job efficiently, though it requires a good shake to fully empty.

   Overall
   Despite a few shortcomings, I would recommend this mower—but with some important caveats.

   It is a pleasure using this powerful mower, the level settings are wonderful. The grass collection box surprisingly holds more grass than anything I had used before. My front and rear lawns have never looked so good.
   I should have purchased this mower years ago.

   The media could not be loaded.

   A big big big mistake. Bought this on the back of good reviews. It is really poor. See the attached video where you can see the grass shavings just left on the lawn. The make is also very plasticky and certain parts that need to be used on a regular basis to collapse the handles look too weak to last long.

   This Ryobi mower is very solidly built and easily put together but would benefit from larger pictures within the installation section. Performed very well for my first use and has a decent sized cuttings collection box for small to medium sized lawns. Adjusting the blade height could not be easier using the gearbox type lever on the top pf the mower body. The wheels being inboard of the cutting circle ensures that the lawn is trimmed very close to the edge even when you have raised solid borders to contend with.

   Nice wide cutting circle means less laps of the garden. However, a flaw in the design is that the bag to collect the grass (which is collapsible to save space in the shed) is large enough to fill with enough grass to act as a pretty successful counterweight to the lawnmower itself rendering it useless as a grass cutter but very effective as a leaf blower. Other than this, it does the job well. Cutting heights are sensible. Mower itself is relatively lightweight and easy to stow away.
