   I did a lot of research before buying this product and love it. It is way more attractively priced compared to the Vitamix and is also very powerful. Making smoothies, dips and ice cream is super easy. I have not tried it with nuts just yet, but given the powerful motor, I suspect it shouldn’t be an issue. Also very easy to clean using the clean function or by just putting it in the dishwasher.

   Negatives: Very loud (it scares my cats) and the seal on the lid is frustrating so it’s quite difficult to make sure it’s sealed shut and as a result can just pop off the jug in the middle of its blending cycle.

   This is an amazing bit of kit. Blends through most anything. Perfect for making coffee frappe or pina colada’s as it does an amazing job blitzing up Ice. Hasn’t let me down yet.
   Great for soup also but it’s not recommended to use it with hot liquid as the steam pressure can cause the lid to lift. Make sure your ingredients are cool before using in a blender and then return to pan for heating after blending.
   I have so many kitchen gadgets I often shy away from as they’re such a pain to clean up after use. The self clean mode on this blender makes it so easy to clean after use. Simple but genius idea. I wouldn’t be without this and recommend to anyone.

   This is a great blender, perfect for frozen fruit and blending tough vegetables like carrots with no lumps. It is better if you’re doing smoothies for multiple people as it does take up a lot of worktop space. It makes smooth hummus too and grinds the chickpea skins down well.

   The smoothie preset is far too powerful though and causes your smoothie to separate and froth. It’s better to do 30 seconds on setting 3 then 30 seconds on setting 4 for a smooth blend.

   Pros:
   – Solid, well made machine that looks premium, with a really solid jug that looks like it would take some breaking.
   – Does a great job at blending frozen fruit and vegetables and the blades are sharp.
   – Auto clean setting is great to clean the jug afterwards, I half fill with water and washing up liquid and it cleans fine.

   Cons:
   – The lid is a very tight fit, so when you put the lid on the rubber seal lifts at the sides and your food gets inside which is a pain to clean.
   – It is very loud so you may wake the neighbours!
   – There is multiple settings on this blender which may be very useful, but there isn’t a single recipe idea or inkling as to what to make using these settings, it really wouldn’t hurt to put a little recipe book in I don’t think 🙂

   My go to smoothie recipe:

   Ginger, pineapple and lemon green smoothie

   2 cups (245g) frozen pineapple
   A generous sprinkling of ground ginger
   Handful of spinach
   120ml orange juice
   1/2 lemon worth of squeezed juice
   (optional) a fresh peach halved.

   I bought this based on excellent reviews from Which?, and I have not been disappointed. Apart from a rather silly name, the Sage Fast and Furious is a no nonsense kitchen tool which excels as a general purpose blender. Unlike my old Kitchen Aid (retired after 10 years of service due to general ill health), the Sage is a lightweight machine that is easy to set up and very easy to clean. The blade/jug design seems to have eradicated the nuisance of material hiding in inaccessible corners, so no need to pause and scrape or jiggle and shake. The auto pulse ice crusher function is plain brilliant, and the blend setting makes great mayo in seconds. It makes great carrot juice. Not the cheapest, but well worth it.

   I purchased this blender as I have arthritis in my hands & weight loss issues & have to have Complan shakes every day combined with Nesquick Strawberry milkshake powder and high fat ice cream added & I was using another brand of Blender however that one had the dial button on it & it became impossible for me to use anymore.
   And as I already have a Sage Kettle that I purchased many years ago & is still as good today as when purchased & also a Sage Mini oven I decided to buy this blender as it has all the features I need & having just used it I have to say I am very impressed the Auto clean function works wonders and cleans everything inside the jug including the lid removing all milk / food debris.
   I added all my ingredients & pressed the blender button and even though the ice cream was frozen solid it blended it as easy as anything.
   The Sage Assist lid is easy for me to remove even with my knackered hands.
   I would highly recommend this blender if you are looking for a good quality reliable value for money addition to your kitchenware.
   Just 1 small quibble the information on the website shows the wrong item on the first picture as the box contents are the Fresh & Furious Blender with blender jug only.
   So I’m assuming the juicer is a separate item.

   I bought this to supplement my nutribullet and I really like t. I continue to use both, the nutribullet for individual smoothies or liquid blending , but this machine is much more useful than I imagined. It makes ice cream from frozen bananas, crushes ice, fierce green smoothies, soup, blends sauces , but I also use it to small chop veg for frying or stewing , mix cake ingredients, chocolate truffles etc which the nutribullet is not designed for. The Sage is bliss to clean , half fill with warm water and run the clean cycle. Works a treat.

    Ich habe den Entsafter circa einen Monat Und habe schon viele Säfte damit gemacht. Ananas, Orange, Apfel, Karotten, Rote Beete usw. Schmeckt einfach unglaublich lecker.
    Das auseinander- und zusammenbauen geht schnell, wenn man es ein paar mal gemacht hat. Ein paar Teile kann man auch in die Spülmaschine stellen.

    Nachdem ich fast 5 Jahre mit einem Philips Entsafter gearbeitet habe und mich das Auseinander bauen wahnsinnig gemacht hat, habe ich mir einen neuen Entsafter gekauft.
    Diesen hier finde ich toll! Lässt sich schneller zusammen und auseinander bauen, der Motor ist stärker, der Saft feiner und ich finde ihn schöner. Dazu kommt einen praktische Bürste um das Sieb sauber zu machen.
    Ich mache damit täglich meinen Selleriesaft, habe aber auch schon Rote Beete, Karotten und Apfelsaft damit gemacht, klappt alles.
    Außerdem ist er deutlich leiser als mein alter Entsafter. Ich bin nach fast zwei Wochen Einsatz rundum zufrieden.

    It is powerful and pretty easy to clean – great for frozen smoothies. It can get a but ‘stuck’ with thicker liquids. We have had it just over 2 years but now the engine does not work – it makes an incredibly loud noise and the engine smells – so I daren’t use it – I will need to get a new blender as we use it all the time and I cannot mend it myself.
