The Cordless Hedge Trimmer by SakerPlus, is a great little way to trim some hedges, edging, small branches or any other trimming you have around the yard. With powerful motor for the size, decent battery length and versatility, this is a highly useful little tool for around the yard. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying, including flaws.
I. Quality – I’d put this trimmer in the middle level of the quality scale and found it to be about what you’d expect if you look at the pictures. It looks and feels like a generic tool, but should hold up ok for the cost. II. Function – Your probable wondering if this little thing can actually cut anything useful. Well, this motor can actually perform on the right tasks. It seemed to cut through what I’ve thrown at it very well without much disappointment. It’s only really good for small branches and leaves as you’re going around bushes It’s going to be less power than a corded version, but it still gets the job done. III. Battery – Being battery operated it starts to get weak as the battery drains. The 22V 1500mAh battery lasts a decently long time. If your cutting anything substantial, it’ll draw a lot of power and run out faster. This is for smaller projects or yards and I’d suggest getting the option with a 2nd battery in case it runs out mid project.
Overall, this is a great bargain friendly trimmer if you want to be able to walk around without having to worry about power cords. For small projects, you’ll have plenty of battery and cutting ability to get the job done, while saving you time and energy. I’ll update this review if it ever starts to have problems

The packaging was standard and secure; everything came neatly boxed with the trimmer, battery, charger, and attachments well protected and ready to go.
In terms of quality, this cordless trimmer looks well constructed. It feels sturdy yet lightweight, with a solid ergonomic grip. The blades are sharp, and the tool-free design for switching between grass shear and hedge trimmer is a user-friendly touch.
Functionality is exactly as described. The battery came pre-charged, so I was able to get to work right away. It handled the thin branches and ornamental bushes in our front yard with ease, and while it took a bit more effort on thicker spots, it still powered through. The adjustable angle head is especially useful for reaching tight corners or trimming lower sections without straining your back. I got through trimming about three hedges before noticing the power start to drop, a decent runtime for a tool this size.
At around $55, it falls into a very competitive spot for this category. There are other models with larger batteries or longer blades, but this one hits a great balance between performance, portability, and price.
Recommendation? Yes. It’s a great option for light to moderate trimming tasks, especially for homeowners who want a cordless, no-fuss tool that’s easy to handle and store. Perfect for tidying up shrubs, small hedges, and edges without dragging out heavier equipment. 🌳🔋🛠️

Can’t Say How long this Tool will Last.. Don’t have a lot of confidence it will.. The Tool does cut well and its very light and easy to use. It works well on light thinner hedges and grass, But the Durability is definitely in question. The tool has a lot of area where there is a lot of “shakiness” .. These areas are at places on the tool where the tool takes a lot of stress. This isn’t a good thing. in my experience tools that have this shaken tool syndrome will break at these points in usually a very short amount of time. Another issue i didn’t like is the battery has a proprietary charging plug. Instead of just making it a C Charging interface it uses a barrel plug. So don’t lose the charging block or you’ll be buying a new charger for the tool..

Wow! Very pleasantly surprised by this cordless hedge trimmer. All of our fears were misfounded. It is very sharp, made quick work of even some thicker branches, very easy to assemble and swap out blades, lighter than I expected, and the battery is high-capacity, strong and generic (i.e., it fits some of the other garden tools we have, which was a great surprise). The clipper comes with two different blade-types: a standard hedge clipper and a smaller, forward-facing clipper, as well as plastic shields for each. I was expecting a low-power, weak tool but boy was I wrong. We’re very happy with this – highly recommended.
