They looks really good on the worktop but not as good as the ones they replaced. The kettle is much lighter as it’s made with thinner metal. It rocks on the base it’s doesn’t sit flat.
The four slice toaster only has one setting for all 4 slots where previous one had one setting per two slots. Which was handy for one side set lower for different people.
The cannisters can be hard to open depending on the temperature I reckon. I leave them a little open to make it easier.
I wish I had paid a bit more but they do the job not sure they will last ten years but will see.

First off I have to admit that I have a fetish for both kettles and toasters so I literally reviewed 100’s before making a decision on this particular 4-slice toaster. It has honestly lived up to my expectations and always toasts evenly. It can easily take thicker slices of bread/bagels without any hassle and again toasts these evenly without any burnt ends. Lovely blue lit dials when in operation.

No lift to check the toast part way through. The position of the ‘browning’ is marked by a small lump on the knob which is so small, and the same colour, as to be useless.

Both items look really good in our new kitchen- as per other reviews the kettle is quite noisy!

A nice easy to use toaster that browns both sides of the bread evenly, although the bread opening are not the biggest it is quite deep so you can use largish slices. Only used a few times so far and have been very happy. If one niggle is the cooking dial is all in black which makes it a bit harder to read.
