Have had the standard filter version for ages which finally gave up the ghost. Replaced it with this one as slighly more modern (especially touch controls which are great). Sadly, the unit keeps stopping during the brewing cycle, meaning you have to keep restarting it until complete. As others are experiencing the same issue, there is clearly a fault with the design or construction of these units so I cannot recommend.

Makes a stunning cold coffee, just add ice to the cup. Small and compact, doesn’t take up much space and is lightweight. Comes with two different cups/mugs – one for hot and one for cold coffee. East to add the coffee, press the button and make a drink.

I bought this as it was advertised as an ice coffee maker but I’ve tried making a cold coffee with the cold coffee button a few times and it’s come out as hot coffee. .

This does not make iced coffee what it does is either give you a half cup of hot coffee (for you to put ice and milk into) or a full cup of hot black coffee. This is going into either the double walled iced coffee plastic cup or the silver metallic keep warm mug. It’s fine if you are just after a one cuppa and can deal with the rest. But it is not an iced coffee machine.

I have been using this coffee maker for the past week, and my experience has been great so far.
One thing that I really like is that it can make both hot and cold coffee. In the morning, I use it to make hot coffee, and later in the day, I use the cold brew function to make refreshing iced coffee. It’s also quick to brew.
The 420 ml travel mug that is included is very convenient for when I need to take my coffee on the go. The 440 ml plastic cup with a straw is perfect for cold drinks like iced coffee, and they’re both easy to clean.
Another thing I like is that I can use either ground coffee or coffee pads. I prefer using ground coffee, but this is personal preference. The machine is also small and doesn’t take up much space on the counter.
If you like both hot and iced coffee and want a simple, all-in-one solution, you might want to consider the Salter EK6214. I thought it would be a bit of a gimmick, but it actually makes solid hot and cold coffees, so I am impressed. Happy to recommend.
