This vacuum cleaner is a giant leap forward from my old Dyson cylinder, and i takes up much less room thanks to the charging station. Suction is amazing, even on the lowest setting. I get the job done much quicker and more thoroughly. The automatic emptying function is a real boon. No mess at all. I chose this vacuum primarily for its HEPA filter as my son suffers from severe allergies. It has exceeded my expectations.

Where to begin ? First of all it looks absolutely stunning like a piece of art in your home. The colour is gorgeous and looks very stylish. It’s super powerful and on my super slim head gives me 5 power options very useful when going from laminate to rug. Power wise I’m never disappointed I’m always absolutely amazed how much dirt it sucks up. From what appears to be clean floors every time I use it I get half a dustbin full. I love the extendable pole suitable for shorter to taller users. Everything just works. But for a clean freak like me I can get in every single nook and clean. All the filters and pre filters are washable!! No more expensive replacement filters. The dust bags themselves so far I have not changed mine in 6months !!! It takes the dirt and compresses it. The moment you dock the machine it automatically recharges and empties. You simply hit the button and poof the dirt is sucked out and compressed. I vacuum daily as I have 5 dogs with long hair. And I honestly have not changed my dirtbin bag once! I imagine il get close to a year before I need to change it! I have already o Purchased a pack of 12 replacement on another website for under £20. So amazing. I genuinely can not fault this machine it is wonderful truly. No more dust clouds. And even better a spare battery that is always on charge ready when and if you need it. But each battery gives a hour so you really shouldn’t require the 2nd battery. I was able to deep clean a 7 seater corner sofa and still have battery left over. I used the crevice too and the upholstery pet. On a final note. On nearly every brush head other manufactures i mean. there’s a part you can not reach to clean and the perspex looks cloudy and yuck. Not with samsung the head you can dismantle and clean fully!! No more hidden dirt stuck far out of reach. I am a disabled man and struggle with other cleaners being too heavy or not very maneuverable. Not with this. It glides across all floors with ease. If it is too powerful knock the power down a level. And as I said you can clean the entire hoover and all filters. Just ensure you wash thoroughly and let to dry for atleast a day. Hope this review helps

This is a good vacuum. I replaced the gtec air ram so have some good comparisons.
The Samsung much more versatile than the gtec, with different attachments. You’d need to buy a separate handheld vacuum to match the attachments. (I did have both).
This model comes with a second battery which helps, but obviously you can get a second battery for the gtec. You can charge both separately from the vacuum so is convenient.
The gtec (both air ram and handheld) have lights which I didn’t think was a big thing but I really do miss it.
The different power choices on the Samsung, and the fact you can see how much battery you have left for each is good and helps you adjust the power consumption.
I haven’t needed to empty the first bag yet so can’t compare but emptying after each use works well (just have to remember to close before next vacuum!)
I’d give this 5 stars if it had a light. Seems like an easy addition they should have had from the start.

This is a very expensive machine, but I read the reviews, and felt it was probably worth it, and indeed it works well. However after about 14 months it stopped charging rendering it useless. I returned it to Samsung, who said that the fault was not covered by the guarantee, even though it has only had light use and is completely undamaged. They wanted to charge me £75 to repair it! I highly recommend that you think twice before buying this or any other Samsung appliance.

It is lightweight to handle, okay and has plenty of tools. I have used it on carpets and hard floors just to test it. It’s a good idea for emptying the waist. I have cleaners coming in. They like it. It has good reviews on Which, and it’s cheaper than Miele & Dyson. Go for it.

Having been a Dyson fan since they first came out I’ve made the switch, this is actually the second one I’ve purchased in the last couple of weeks. Beats a Dyson hands down. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.

This vacuum was a great upgrade on our existing until. The mount and emptying function keeps things clean and tidy. The accessories all clip on the mount to keep things organised. I wasn’t expecting to be impressed with a vacuum but this managed to do that.
