   Decent phone, main issues are lack of functioning contactless payment and poor camera. Back was quite scratched up and seriously considered returning it but decided the cover would obscure it anyway. Getting a bit slow since I bought it about 2 years ago.

   I bought this phone for my boyfriends birthday it arrived and I turned it on and everything was fine. When it came to his birthday I surprised him with the new phone and the screen wouldn’t turn on, it made noise like it was on but nothing came up on the screen. Eventually after working with it for half an hour the screen turned on but since then it constantly glitches and the screen will just go black and not turn on a for a while. Because I bought it for a birthday present once we noticed the issues it was too late for a refund so now I have just wasted money on a phone that doesn’t even work. So if you are thinking of buying one DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. And I just don’t understand why someone would think it’s ok to send an item like this to a paying customer 😡

   It’s been a few months of using it outside in the cold, it works so far, the battery is good. The only thing that bothers me it won’t stop updating. It had some update from February. I installed it and immediately it wanted to download some March update. Then from April. And so on

   Love this phone. I got it mainly for the camera, since it’s a decent for a budget phone. I’ve used it for family photos and videos the whole time I’ve had it. For the price the features are OK. I got a bit frustrated that I didn’t have features I’m used to from my prehistoric, entry level D80, but this is a phone and isn’t a dslr, which is what I used until it gave up the ghost.

   Had always gone the ‘contract upgrade’ route but now that I’ve bought this one, I’ll be looking for other replacements from the same supplier as it’s much cheaper and I don’t have to change the contract to use it.

    I could hardly hear calls on speaker phone or regular calls unless the room was entirely silent. I compared the cell purchased here (samsung galaxya52 5g) to a Samsung Galaxy a52 5g I already had but wanted to replace, and music sounded way louder and way higher quality on my old falling apart samsung a52 vs the replacement. I can also hear calls on speaker phone and non speaker phone as normal on my current a52. Very disappointed because I’m left still using my broke screen, broken case a52 5g but I couldn’t tolerate the terrible audio quality on the cell I was sent.

    I also checked the settings, the volume button, and updated everything. I suspect the speaker was replaced with one lower quality or it was broken idk but it was unacceptable.
