   Although I originally purchased the item from Amazon, it did not quite make it to my letterbox, instead went… AWOL. Amazon refunded swiftly, but I would dearly have loved to know how it tracked to my street, then did not get delivered. It was my brithday present to myself, so was not a pleasant experience from the otherwise top job on Amazons delivery side of things. Anyhow, purchased elsewhere and sadly as a slightly higher price, but its a great watch. Integrates with my Samsung phone very well and feels really comfortable. Decent battery life (2 days +) – I got the smaller 42mm model.

   Absolutely smashing piece of kit!

   Had a few concerns around getting the smaller size and battery compared to the 46mm but I couldn’t bring myself to buy the horrible looking 2 tone silver and black.

   So anyone who is unsure of which to get, read this review to settle your mind as I’ve pin pointed a few concern I had.

   – Price. It’s a good bit cheaper than the 46mm so will save you a few beer tokens.

   -Battery life. I was worried having read the other reviews and complaints online but I currently and consistently get 4 days with this on light to moderate use, AOD is off, GPS is off bar during running or exercise and heart rate is on 10min intervals bar during running or exercise. So still using most of the features, like notifications, Samsung pay, calendar, linking with my phone alarm etc and just generally playing around with the rotating bezel which never gets old. With everything on and using it flat out I’d prob get 2 days but equally I could turn more off and get another day or 2 out of it.

   – looks. Very little needs said here as it was the all black that was a pro for me before I bought it and rightly so, the all black looks absolutely amazing, I feel like batman wearing it!

   -Size. I was concerned here but the size is just perfect, I’m a big guy (6’2″ and 17st) with large hands and wrists and to be honest, I would go as far to say the 46mm would look a bit big and chunky although I’m not a fan of a large watch face anyway. (I just wanted the 46mm because it was there and had a bigger battery) but the difference in actual display size is only 3mm which is not much at all.

   Other than the size, battery and I think the processor being minimally smaller, that its, it has all the same spec as the 46mm, has all the same features, and apps etc.

   I upgraded from a Fitbit blaze as I was having a terrible time with the connected GPS that Fitbit seem to think is acceptable and usable. Also because of the lack of smart abilities. I can honestly say I’m thrilled with this watch, the GPS is so accurate mapping runs, walks and hikes. I have the Samsung galaxy S9 phone so can fully take advantage of all the features it has to offer.

   Cant recommend this enough if you are a Samsung user!!

   My first smart watch So have nothing to compare with! I am guessing if u currently have s3 there would be very little that would blow ur mind, but for me…It is everything and more.

   I was pretty sceptical about whether this would be a gadget worth purchasing, whether it was just a gimmick and what kind of use it would play in my life. I also have the smallest man wrists so have been very wary about buying a smart watch as I wasn’t wanting to look like a modern day Mr T.

   I can 100% confirm that the watch looks great on my wee wrists, it tells the time..has loads of useful apps that I use daily. I can now confirm it’s watertight after using in the shower and I love the way it just seamlessly interacts with your phone…exactly what I wanted. I got the phone/ watch charger free aswell so that was a bonus!!

   Anything I don’t like? Well I’m not sure the heart rate monitor is this side of accurate so that’s quite gimmicky, and I really wanted to sort my Spotify playlists to play but am really struggling to play anything through the watch but apart from that….

   In summary…

   Easy to set up and navigate
   Useful apps
   Handy to scrawl msg responses or a quick emoji
   Looks awesome
   Premium feel
   Interacts well with galaxy phone
   42mm is a good size for small wrists
   Very gadgety

   Flipside…

   I wouldn’t bother if u have another Samsung smart watch
   Spotify hard to work out
   Takes a wee while to taylor ur setup
