   Joke of a washing machine. Only one setting will actually allow you to wash 9kg which is on the cloudy day setting. You also have to automatically switch off AI settings for every wash to stop it from extending the wash time. The fastest everyday clean is on the mixed wash which takes 1hr 48 mins but will only release waster for a 4kg wash – this means if you fill the machine with 9kg your wash doesn’t come out good unless you use the pre wash option.
   It’s very frustrating to use , ie if you want the remove phone option to work you have to remember to physically click the WiFi icon to enable the feature again for every single wash. God forbid you leave your phone upstairs and happen to come to the laundry room to take the wash out, you can’t do this you have to unlock through the phone.

   I regret buying this machine simply because it’s not intuitive, the 9kg feature can only be used on a wash that takes 3 hours at 30 degrees and the clothes come out creased. I would have preferred the option to manually select the KG and washing time – this machine doesn’t give the use much control. The add feature is good but given the lack of control over water dosing and time I’m not happy with it. I would also have liked to stop AI Sense load as it’s a complete gimmick. Have had machine over 1 year and have never ever been able to do a 20 min fast was even with just a tshirt in there.

   The child lock is essentially an adult lock. My 18 month old is naturally fascinated by the washing machine. Especially with the silly music it plays when it finishes a wash. I put the child lock on but it’s useless he has turned the machine off several times. Surely it should ask for child lock to be switched off before the machine can be switched off . Once switched off you have to start the program again. Now here’s why i call it an adult lock you power it back on and you can’t do anything to restart it , without going through several annoying steps to switch It off . The child lock doesn’t stop my son switching the machine off but it does stop me from getting the machine back on quickly. I also don’t understand why it can’t pick up the program where it left off from being switched off I used to have a cheap beko one that done this. I expected better from samsung and maybe this won’t be an issue to childless couples/singles or those with older kids but if you have young children under three who are walking around exploring best give this one a miss especially with the silly childish tune it makes when it finishes.
