The main thing that attracted me to this set was the ability to fold and compact the bucket!
Being a single dad, it’s no easy feat trying to lug bags of beach gear and two children to the beach so where ever space and bulky items can be saved is a massive help!
The bucket has a silicone material middle and it’s quite simple to fold / unfold it.
The bucket is really the star item in this set… all of the other pieces look terrible quality as if they have been moulded in a really sub standard environment. Some of the pieces have sharp, catchy bits of plastic that I would not trust to be safe for little ones. (See the orange clam picture for an example).
My set didn’t come with a dolphin mould like what was advertised in the pictures… it came with a clam and a crab.
The tools in the set are aimed at 0 – 2 year olds.
The tools are very flimsy and would probably snap unless you were using them on dry loose sand.
I feel at £8.15 this set is over priced as the quality is just very poor and apart from the bucket, the other items are not really fit for purpose.

A set that already being enjoyed in the sandpit. A 7 piece set with all the pieces brightly coloured durable plastic. You get a spade, rake, shovel, sieve, 2 molds, collapsable bucket and a watering can. All the pieces are molded well, with no sharp edges anywhere. All the molds are fairly small, easy to pick up and grab hold to play with. They have indentations on the inside to print out the details on the sand once lifted. The set is ideal to be able to take to the beach or to use at home in a sand pit or sand table, or even just water play. My boys are already giving these a proper work out in our sandpit in the garden.
