Had good reviews although didn’t realise at the time that reviews were for the 1000 watt version and not the 1300 that was offered for sale. However, making cakes was very easy, the machine did a wonderful job, bread making was a little different, I only put enough ingredients in for one loaf which made the machine quite laboured although it brought the ingredients together well, and the resulting loaf was very acceptable. It was just as well it had suckers else I feel it would certainly have travelled the worktop. All in all, if you are baking cakes with the odd loaf of bread thrown in, I am confident it would do the job and far more affordable than a lot of other machines out there, I know you get what you pay for but we are not all able to afford the best, which these days can come with a very hefty price tag. Would recommend to a beginner baker like myself.
Review update – I have since doubled the ingredients and made two loaves of bread, while I still believe it labours, my partner said he didn’t think it sounded all that bad. So, more capable than first thought.

Bought this for the wife as I was fed up of seeing dried cake mix all over the bowl and to make her life a little easier.
Works really well across the board, good speed control and not too noisey.
Well made, good changeable tools and the bowl cover is a nice idea.
I haven’t had any problems like other people have so far… And, you can use this without the blender jar attached, just put the plastic cover over the hole where the blender sits and its fine as long as its fitted correctly, it’s only there to make the connection so the mixer knows the jar isn’t on.

With it being one of the cheap mixers I didn’t have high hopes but it’s actually really good! I make cakes for friends/family and this is perfect for what I use it for. It’s so easy to use, well made and easy to clean.

My penniless daughter encouraged me to buy a food processor on the understanding that she would make me a lovely cake. She said the important thing was to make sure it was described as a ‘food processor’, not a food chopper, mixer, blitzer etc. She left the make and model down to me. I find such gadgets a bit on the dull side, so imagine my delight when I came across the Sensio Food Processor in red, reminding me of the little red Corvette I always wanted in the Fifties, as chronicled in Prince’s breakthrough hit 30 years later, by which time all my money had been allocated to costly mortgages and child care. That’s life! I thought. Destiny has denied me a classic red sports car, but I can at least fire up the red Sensio on the work top. I watched on as my daughter unpacked the Sensio and popped in the cake-making stuff (I’m not too technical in this area) into the bowl. “You’ve always been a wonderful father to me”, she said, “I’m making your favourite coffee and walnut cake”. My salivary glands went into overdrive as she pressed the start button. The Sensio roared – well, not really – whirred more like – into life. We stood there. And stood there. And continued to stand there. But however long we waited – and it was a long time – those pesky lumps of whatever failed to homogenise. Eventually we gave up and my daughter rang her mother. She arrived with her food processor, plugged it in, transferred the ingredients and – bish bosh – job done. An hour later we were sitting down to an excellent slice of cake and a cup of tea. My daughter washed up the Sensio and set it up again and we both admired it. I told her about the Fifties and played her Prince’s classic hit – both before her time – and we agreed that the Sensio was well worth one star for its looks.

Ok, so when I was looking at this mixer before buying it, I read the reviews and there were a few that concerned me. But I thought, actually there’s more good reviews than bad, let’s get it.
I am so glad I did that!
First things first, this is a £90 version of an appliance that usually costs £200. So you need to manage your expectations somewhat! But not as much as you’d think.
This isn’t a mixer they use on Great British Bake Off. It’s not metal, it’s plastic. The attachments aren’t metal. They are solid plastic coated to look metal. It doesn’t have the *solid* feel that you’d expect from a £200 machine, and obviously it won’t! It’s £90, so the cost difference has to be somewhere!
But, using it is lovely. It’s very easy to attach and detach the attachments. It’s not too loud at all. The suction feet really lock it in place. The smoothie jug is THICK solid glass. The bowl is easy to clean. The control dial lights up when the appliance is plugged in so you know the power is on. The mixer has a lovely planetary action and mixes everything really nicely.
Overall, this is a great appliance and for the cost, it’s the bargain of the year. But if you are expecting an equivalent lovely solid metal professional looking mixer, you’ll need to go spend more.

If you can’t afford a top of the range this machine is fab. Bought it as a family Christmas gift as my sons love baking.
It has been well used and still runs perfectly. Easy to use, easy to clean, great to have the addition of the blender for smoothies etc.
Well worth it.

I previously had a K-mix, which served me well until the lever wouldn’t allow the arm to lift at all. Too expensive to repair 😕Such a waste.
Having read reviews , I decided to take the gamble and try this model. Considerably cheaper and to be honest I just make cakes or whip cream with it,
so I didn’t need to pay more.
The blender is great too and easy to use. Yes, it’s a little noisier, but not too loud.
The splash guard has an open ‘add liquid hole’ but when mixing flour, you need to put your hand over it as it will flirt out. The Kmix had a little flap that opened, then closed. Good quality attachments too. The blender is heavy glass. Really good quality.
The mixer is light in weight to move across the counter.
On the whole, really pleased and would recommend it without hesitation.
